Been a customer since I was a child. I remember going for dinner here back when j was about 7 and getting their ravioli. Which to my memory were great. The pizza was always highly rated by me and my family. The dining room was very dimly lit and good atmosphere ( not sure how it is now this was over a decade ago)… Though I’m sure it has improved for the best. We ordered a tray for the first time in probably years. I was a bit disappointed at the bottom being overcooked. Though the sauce and cheese tasted just as good as ever.

Good hoagies and cannoli, a little pricey, but good taste.

The overall ambiance of the place was nice and the waitstaff was pleasant. That was about the only good parts besides the warm rolls with cinnamon butter and their house dressing. They charge high quality prices for low quality food. The seafood bisque was made with imitation seafood and shrimps that were smaller than salad shrimps. The entrees were okay but again were not worth the price. Then we got dessert to go. Upon receiving the bill I realized the pieces of cake were $11 a piece which okay that’s fine because what was shown to us was pretty hefty sized portions. Once home the cakes were average tasting and the portions were much smaller than advertised. Very sad at the quality of food. We normally just go to the Tunkhannock location but they ranted and raved about the dinners at the other location so we gave it a try and unfortunately they did not live up to the praise.

I am in Parmesan Heaven here. I rotate between Chicken, Veal, and Eggplant as this is my favorite spot for parm for 10 years .

The dinner was terrible. there was something hard in my seafood raviolis and they told me that was just natural. There was nothing they could do. My mealwas $28 and I think there was maybe eight small raviolis. The waitress recommended this dish and it was disgusting. My friend had a $38 lobster and shrimp with risotto that was soggy and also very unappetizing.Very little seafood. My daughter had vodka sauce with chicken cutlets. It was OK nothing to write home about. We will never go back there for dinner but we do like the pizza.ugh!

normally your food is delicious, which is why we chose to have catering for our daughter’s baptism. however, the food was not good. the chicken marsala tasted like boiled chicken. it had no flavor and was swimming in broth with mushrooms. no one could even taste marsala wine. the mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant mashed potatoes. the roast beef was very dry, despite it swimming in the au jus. the penne was overcooked and mushy. and the carrots were undercooked. our guests barely touched their food and we couldn’t give the food away, since no one wanted it. we paid a lot of money for the food, so this sucks. we gave the food away to the firemen at the fire hall where the event took place, and even they couldn’t eat it. we are very disappointed

Samario’s never disappoints, we had the mozzarella tower as an appetizer and could not recommend it more! The staff is always extremely friendly and the restaurant was incredibly clean. Always an enjoyable experience and a diamond in the rough of Scranton. Highly recommend to go try the chicken parmesan.

This is an Italian restaurant that has fallen from heaven. Leaps and bounds above the competition when it comes to their tortellini alfredo, and their ravioli is ridiculous. If they packaged their Alfredo in those packets that little kids eat their apple sauce out of I would buy it and just sip on it all day long. And when they showcase the cake slices…resisting would be like saying no to a lap dance but you’re in a strip club; doesn’t happen. I was blown away by the quality, taste and portion size. Very well done

Feels like a classic NEPA Italian joint that is trying to be better than the standard fare. Interior is dated but comfortable. Staff were attentive, and the portions are generous. None of us could finish our meals, and we did not get appetizers. My only complaint was the Alfredo my wife ordered, which tasted exclusively of cooked heavy cream – no seasoning or cheesiness. I was much happier with my blush sauce that had sausage, garlic, and spinach.
