Found this wine bar today randomly after getting dinner in Redmond and really loved the unique collection. I loved reading about the owner’s background, different labels assigned to each wine, etc. Perfect place to have a date night or a night out with friends. Will definitely be coming back 🙂

One of the best winery in Redmond, Washington! We drove from Vancouver, BC to try some wineries near Seattle, and this one had the best collection of red wines we tried. The aromas and flavours were distinctive in each variety. The interiors were beautifully designed with locally sourced wood and décor, giving it a warm and authentic feel. They also have a separate private meeting room, which seemed perfect for business meetings or small gatherings. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready with great recommendations. Highly recommend this Redmond tasting room for anyone who loves wine and a welcoming experience. Everything had a unique story to it, what an amazing experience. I highly recommend their membership, it’s a steal for wine lovers

I’m honestly embarrassed to admit I hadn’t heard about this place since they opened in June 2025. 🙁 We were having dinner with friends at SPARKS Pizza (BTW: also highly recommend), but we wanted to keep the night going. I searched for wine bars nearby because while I may be a “cheap date” when it comes to pizza, I absolutely love a good wine… which makes me not such a cheap date after all.
This spot popped up, and when I saw they had wines we love..Grenache, Mourvèdre, old‑world styles—it was an immediate yes.
The moment we walked in, the ambience was warm and inviting, and the service was AMAZING. Our server not only knew her stuff, she made us feel welcome right away. After our tasting, we had a question she wasn’t 100% sure about, so she brought over the owner. And wow what a treat. He’s a genius, and hearing his story how he got into wine, was fascinating.
Now, full honesty: WA wines are not usually my favorites. I love Baer, Gorman, Lachini, Latta, Rotie, and a few others… but his wines? We were NOT expecting them to be this incredible. Truly blown away. Every single pour was thoughtful, balanced, and honestly better than many of the wines we normally seek out.
GO. Just go. You will not regret it!! Their Grenache was my favorite…

Nice, cozy and friendly wine bar in RTC. Worth the trip even if you are not shopping. Great wine by the flight, glass, or bottle. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, owner often there. Will return.

We had them at our property for a wine tasting and by far they have the best rose’ I have ever had. I will be a long time customer just on that alone, but that is not my only favorite. What a great place to go and enjoy an afternoon of good conversation while enjoying the atmosphere that is so inviting you can’t help but stop shopping for a moment to enjoy a fabulous glass of wine. I look forward to coming back soon! I am thinking of giving the wine club as a gift to my parents this holiday. I know they will appreciate a great bottle of wine to share at our holiday table.

We made the trip from Vancouver, BC to visit Samā Cellars at the Redmond Town Centre. This boutique, family-owned wine lounge is tucked right inside the mall—so convenient if you’re looking to unwind after an afternoon of browsing.
The wines are excellent—super easy to enjoy, even if you’re not a wine pro. The Bhūmi Syrah (Double Gold winner!) was a favorite—rich, smooth, and bold. They also have award-winning Grenache and Cinsault that are seriously impressive.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and there’s a private meeting room which is ideal for small gatherings, private tastings or special celebrations. The team welcomed us with genuine hospitality and shared the story behind each pour, which made the experience even more memorable.
Whether you’re local or visiting from afar, Samā Cellars is a must-visit. We’ll absolutely be back—and next time, we’re bringing friends.

As someone who enjoys structured reds from established European producers, or domestic houses like DeLille, Mark Ryan, or Opus One, I found the wines here lacking in depth and character. The majority of the pours were from very recent vintages (2022–2023), which may explain their underdeveloped profiles. The Cabernet Sauvignon, in particular, felt unbalanced and was difficult to enjoy.
I was genuinely excited about this new opening and had high hopes for the tasting experience. While I appreciate the effort and the enthusiasm behind the brand, I’d recommend this winery more for casual visitors than those seeking serious, cellar-worthy reds. I look forward to seeing how the wines evolve with time and maturity.

Excellent wine specialized in Rhone varietal wine for both casual wine drinkers and enthusiasts. We had both white and red flights. Both flight are excellent. Just when we think we find our favorite wine, the next wine is even better. Highly recommend their Rocks Syrah (94pts from Wine Enthusiasts). We also liked CDR, Cinsault and their Rhone white. We got a few bottles and pretty excited about it. Service is warm and welcoming. They also have food options such as chartuterie and vegetarian options, which is quite thoughtful.
Sama feels like a great neighborhood spot in RTC area. Definitely recommend and will visit again.
