This place was absolutely amazing. The food is spectacular and they have absolutely ruined mozzarella sticks from any other establishment. You can taste the freshness of the food. They are great with allergies and will check on anything to make sure you have the best options . Our waiter was Tanner and he was so nice and friendly. He made great suggestions and really added to a memorable dinning experience. I got ravioli with alfredo and my husband got the lasagna and it was very health portions. The lemon chiffon cake was the perfect dessert to round off our meal. The atmosphere was great with a cozy intimate feel.

Going down hill. We are here last year and it was very good.
This time we took my 91 year old mother for a special dinner and it was extremely sub-standard food and preparation.
We first got a cesear salad that was wilted brown and sent it back to receive a less wilted salad. The romaine was partially frozen, it was prepared hours before and kept too cold. The staff commented he was color blind and couldn’t see anything wrong. “Not a great start.”
Next, my mother commented her plate was warm after eating some of her wedge salad. Them turned it over to discover a gross soup of bacteria festering on the bottom, due to poor preparation and storage. I asked for the kitchen manager, but they wouldn’t come out to address the issue. I guess it’s the practice of the management to ignore any customer concerns.
Lastly, our entree s arrived at the table.
The plates were cold and food barely warm. The short rib was tender but dry with no sign of juices. Served with a small portion of mushroom risotto that was tasty. The lamb chops were overcooked and needed a steak knife to cut them. See the pictures below of the wedge salad and decide if you want this on your dinner plate?

Awesome food we all loved it. Be sure to make a reservation so you are not disappointed. I am an American living in western Canada but I come every winter to visit my sister in Mesa.We had the pleasure to dine here tonight with lovely Bea as our server. Very efficient, and friendly. We leisurely dined. My sister gets a different meal she loves each time. It was my first experience but surely not my last. Yummy.
Thanks.

Excellent food. The eggplant parmagiana was excellent. The mussels were stupendous with very scrumptious broth. The mixed drinks were also quite good. Prices were a bit high. Ambience and service were quite good. The deserts were excellent. We will be back.

What a cute spot! We had the best time! Great environment! Our server was THE BEST – Thanks B! We gave a 4 for the food because they brought my dish out cold (twice) and ran out of meatballs. They felt bad, shared apologies and sent us home with dessert. We will be back for sure! Looking forward to trying a hot and yummy dish/meatballs next time! Thanks guys!!

Not the happiest with my meal I splurged on, $36 for short rib mushroom risotto, lots of meat! Not enough risotto AT ALL, and 3 whopping mushrooms. You gave me more calamari then you did the actual entree.

Food is mid, but service was terrible. Our glasses were sitting empty. Were told to keep our forks between courses. Were told if we wanted to split a full salad (which is just a normal sized Caesar for $17) is $3 more, but no extra plates could be brought. Two top table was too small for the bread bowl and two modest antipasto. I would be okay with the price of a) you don’t nickel and dime me over something stupid like a salad. Everything is al la carte so I know I’m paying more, I get that, give me new plates, give me new silverware b) service was attentive. Final comment, the decorations/atmosphere was poorly executed (emphasis on poor). The light fixtures hang too high but not high enough because the electrician didn’t lower then to be intimate table lighting. The wall is covered with cheap mirror tiles from the 70s or is it the 80s? The wall is covered with the same vinyl material as the floor. The bathroom floor is dangerously slippery. Portions are almost generous but not quite. Even my little wife was still hungry after two apps a salad and her ravioli main.
In short, would I go there again? Not for dinner no. Maybe it would be okay to go to the outdoor bar and have drinks and apps. In short, pretending to be a bistro but really just tacky with overpriced food and very poor service.
Did I tip? Yes, I’m not cheap. But also left a note as no one asked about the food or the experience while we were there. Was it busy? Not really. Just incompetence. Oh… And there’s no parking unless you want to walk from the jack the box parking lot

My husband and I dined here for the first time a few weeks ago and we really enjoyed ourselves. This is a family owned and operated establishment and the pride in ownership shows. The ambience was nice and the service was top notch! We arrived in time to take advantage of their happy hour and ordered a couple of cocktails and their cheese sticks (best cheese sticks we’ve ever had)! My husband ordered the lasagna and I ordered the special, which was short rib bolognese with pappardelle noodles. We both agreed that our dishes were delicious and I was pleasantly surprised in how meaty the bolognese was. I normally do not order dessert as I am too full by the end of the meal, but had to try one of grandma’s recipes cannoli, so I ordered one to go and it did not disappoint! Delicious!

Such a wonderful experience. We dined in for brunch today (Saturday). Our food was delicious and the service was superb. I ordered the avocado toast with a side of fruit and a cappuccino, and my husband had the special of steak and eggs. Our waitress Zoe was so sweet and attentive. We will definitely be returning for brunch and for dinner. Go try Sam and Luca! You won’t be disappointed.
