My boyfriend and I stopped by cause they had an offer for a free drink, tamale, pupusa or quesadilla grande and we wanted to try it out. We opted for the drink as we were heading to a friend’s for dinner. I got the ensalada while my boyfriend got the horchata and I appreciated how the cashier asked if we wanted ice or not. We also saw some cute Halloween decorated conchas and saw that for four of them was 9.95 so got that to share with our friends. The conchas were delicious and not too sweet.

There was plenty of parking near the location. When you enter, you see the restaurant half which is a lovely, cozy space that can seat many customers of all party sizes. They have a section for napkins, utensils and to go boxes too. If you go to the left, that is the bakery as well as small store of different goodies. They had all types of pastries, cakes, and snacks that you can choose from. The prices seem fair. When we entered the bakery side, the employees welcomed us and told us to let them know if we have any questions. Very friendly and quick service! We definitely want to come back to try their pastries, cakes, and food again. They also do have a point system that you can sign up for to get discounts and even a birthday reward too.

Okay honestly, they’re specialty is for sure tres leches, which is good and everything but if you request another flavor or type of cake it’s not the best, I ordered a cake for my moms birthday (red velvet) it was dry and just tasted so bad. I also think that their decoration is one of the worst, you won’t be receiving what you asked for when it comes to decoration. The frosting tasted like pure food coloring and the cake was smaller than asked for, the colors for the frosting were also not what asked for, and the words that went on the cake had to be placed in a different spot because the cake was too small. The reference picture and the cake itself were just 2 different things

I was so excited to try out this place for my weekend dinner. They have a variety of items ranging from cakes, pastries and coffee along with full lunch/dinner menu celebrating Salvadorean culture. They also have a small selection of grocery items too. We ordered pupusas – pollo, pork and vegetarian ones with spinach and zucchini. They ran out of purple corn flour for our vegetarian ones and had to be done with yellow corn. I was a little surprised we were not offered any refunds even though it was just 1.50$. The staff were polite but visibly overwhelmed. The take out order took around 20mins. The pupusas were okay but the amount of filling wasn’t much, although the filling was tasty. The cabbage salad had a weird bitter taste which I ended up throwing all of it. The red sauce was delicious and mildly spiced. I also got alfajores which was really bad and tasted just of oil/butter. I was left extremely disappointed with my visit.

I really like their pupusas but this time I really had a BAD EXPERIENCE. I GOT A LONG HAIR TRAPPED BETWEEN THE CHEESE AND DOUGH inside the pupusa. This is NASTY. This pupusas became so expensive and if I’m paying a high price I deserve quality! This is the U.S, not El Salvador, where getting some hair in your food might not be a big deal. Please señoras pupuseras follow the law and learn how to properly handle the food you’re selling!!!

There is a new layout in which the order counter is on the right side and you can see the workers putting the fresh pupusas on the griddle on the left. I love coming here with my family and being immersed in community of white center.
The pupusas are piping hot and I love the cortido “slaw” and salsa roja. The cheese, zucchini and chicken pupusas are my favorite and enjoy the fluffy rice and slightly airy taste prep of the beans.
This time around the fried pork was tough and really crispy. The banana leaf chicken tamale was mushy and slightly too moist. I chock this up to an off day. I usually have no issues with the food and support local. 5 stars all around.

Salvadorean Bakery and Restaurant Inc. absolutely deserves a 5-star rating! I recently had the pleasure of trying their mango tres leches cake, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The cake was incredibly moist, with a rich, creamy texture and just the right amount of mango flavor — sweet but not overpowering. It truly melted in my mouth with every bite. The quality and balance of flavors were spot-on, showing how much care and expertise goes into their baking.

Their pastries are also perfection. Each one I’ve tried has had a great taste and texture — from flaky layers to the perfect amount of sweetness. I have a bit of a sweet tooth, and this place hit every mark. What really surprised me was how much my 2-year-old nephew enjoyed the cake. He usually isn’t a fan of sweets or cakes, but he kept asking for more bites. That alone speaks volumes!

The bakery is warm and inviting, with a great selection that showcases authentic Salvadoran flavors alongside classic favorites. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again to try something new each time. Whether you’re stopping in for a treat or celebrating something special, Salvadorean Bakery and Restaurant Inc. is a must-visit. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates delicious, well-made desserts!

I’ve been going to this bakery since I was a teenager. Absolutely amazing food, friendly staff, great prices, and the tres leches is amazing. Best pupusas around too. They just celebrated their 30th anniversary and were giving away free swag and pastries.
