Excellent food! Haven’t dined in for a while but so glad we did. Staff was perfect level of attentiveness, timing each course inobtrusively without interrupting the conversation, which I feel is a lost art. Thank you Salutos family, for being a neighborhood favorite for so many years!

On a Saturday night, we had about a 20-minute wait which is what our hostess told us. They have a nice bar and we enjoyed a cocktail before dinner. We have pizza with a salad in the house dressing and it was delicious. I would recommend coming here anytime.

New visit: I had a grilled chicken, cheese, peppers, and mushroom sandwich. The chicken and vegetables were very tender and delicious. The roll was fresh.

I ate there the other day for the first time in about 20 years. The waitress didnt explain the sides or how the dish was presented. So I wasny happy when I received my sloppy chicken order. I took 3 bites. Secondly, they overcook their pasta into a mush. Thirdly, out waitress didnt ask us how everything tasted until we asked for the checks.
Very poor service , food taste, and presentation. Won’t be back.

Hello,

I wanted to share my experience while dining at your restaurant this past weekend. Our service was absolutely HORRIBLE. First, one person asked what kind of cheese was included, and she had no clue. Also, our server NEVER came by to offer us refills on our drinks. Also, when she took our salad bowls with our forks in them she never brought us new ones. Also, she never checked on us and asked if we ever needed anything. When people are spending well $100 they expect attentive service.

Please train your servers better.

We moved to Tampa the last 6 years! Ordered takeout and dined here regularly! We ordered takeout tonight and could not have been more happy with the food! Just like we remembered! Our souls are full! Just like old times! Yummy!

Got the bill to find out all their prices almost doubled from the previous 2 months we dined there. The server did not tell us the samples of sauces were of cost as well. Our normal dishes went up in price without out knowledge. Nobody informed us when we sat down. We were shocked when we recieved the bill. After eating there for years we will not be back whatsoever. Also they had an lose dog going back and forth into the kitchen. Id highly advise, going to another establishment that treats their customers decently.

It was a very confusing experience. We went for a late lunch. The atmosphere looked nice, but they used plastic salad bowls, salad plates, and water cups and ugly plastic fake leather table clothes. Service was on the slower side. The wine was good. The salad was excellent. Very good dressing. The rolls were okay. We did get the lunch portions, and they were very accommodating, but we were very surprised by the size. The cheese ravioli was 4 raviolis for $14. The creamy vodka sauce I chose was very good, the filling was good, the pasta itself did not impress. The Chicken Diavolo tasted like nothing but red pepper flakes and was what looked like a 4oz serving for $13. It did come with a side of pasta, your choice of pasta type and sauce, but the homemade pasta was … 8 minutes past al dente. Overall, this seems like the kind of place that could be amazing, but things are in half measures.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the antique mall on the other side of the freeway. WOW. loved it! Our waitress Jeannie, was fabulous!! Ask for her. The salad dressing and rolls are to die for. Pasta and sauces were fabulous. You can try samples before you choose. We even got covers to take our sodas with us.

This place has the best pizzas. We love the Alpine one and always get it when we visit. Their meat lovers is also a must. (See picture for both pizzas). They come loaded with toppings and cheese. Did i mention the alpine is delicious? Alfredo sauce with cheese, shrimp, and crab. Some spinach too i think. Just delicious. They also have a salad if you’re watching your waistband. The dressing is really good and the salad is fresh. Chicken is alright. Not the best and a bit dry but I still enjoyed it. They serve an Italian beef loaded with meat and cheese that is also a must try. It can be a bit salty for some people but for me it was perfect. Their calimari and appetizers are good. Sometimes a bit bland but the place is still good. Desserts are always on point. The service is also great. I read other reviews and would assume some items are not a hit but the items i mentioned so far we have tried and liked. Our server was very attentive and kind. The only downside is the wait time. We waited around 45 minutes to an hour for our food and the place had just opened. I suppose they were getting the kitchen ready and making things fresh. We didn’t mind much because we were talking amongst ourselves but if you were in a hurry then this would he a downside. Overall, a very good place to eat on the weekend. The restaurant itself is clean. The lighting is dim. It did fill up pretty quick after it opened. One thing that surprised me was their water. I asked for a glass and it tasted good. I’m usually scared to order water from restaurants because it taste like tap and unfiltered. Just not good. But their water tasted like fresh water. So they must have a good filtration system or something of the sorts.
