We were in town just for today while traveling. Found this place on google and it looked good.
So glade we did. What a great place. We went on a Sunday around 11 am and were settled I. The bar. Great atmosphere. TVs with sports on.
We ordered breakfast. Eggs Benedict and Biscuits and gravy. Both were very tasty and the service was fast. Also the OG Bloody Mary was great! The server Mia was very attentive and nice. The salted caramel coffee was tasty, however $10.50. I don’t mind supporting local businesses.
Absolutely recommend trying Salty’s on 2nd.

Solid comfort food with generous portions. The plates are huge and definitely filling, perfect if you come hungry. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, especially the breakfast dishes

So good we had to visit two days in a row.
Angel, our server, is queen!
The philly omelette is fire. The Thai Chili wings are excellent. The biscuits are perfect. Portions aren’t grand, but the meals are satiating.
Salty’s is quaint and a must try.

Shrimp & grits! Conveniently located on the waterfront, we enjoyed a relaxing family dinner on the patio. We then went back the next morning for breakfast – more variations of Eggs Benedict than I have ever seen, and the avocado toast was pretty great!

So the food was not bad, but the service was horrible. We had 6 people in our group. Our waitress brought out 5 of our meals and never came back. We had to ask the bartender about the rest of our food. She went to check and brought it out and said she guessed the server forgot. Really! Everyone was finished by then. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what, but this was the worst service we had in all of our Alaskan travels. She never smelled once. We will never go back.

I have visited Fairbanks quite often and never went to this restaurant. I am grateful to have found this go around because it is a new favorite spot for me. Food was awesome. Service was spot on too. The food might be a tad pricey, but it is worth it.

The food was well beyond expectations and everything I had was delicious. I withheld a star only because they seemed to be out of some of the food items such as burger patties, and there was a bit of a wait before we were seated. Overall, great experience and would recommend.

Came on Saturday for some diner had to sit in the bar area no service to the tables in back which wasnt preferable. Food was pretty good and the service was fine. Had pork belly tacos, and enjoyed the wasabi slaw on them. Also had the cajun pasta which was good.

This was a very bad experience from start to finish. We did not feel welcomed at all. The service was extremely poor, we had to walk around and find someone just to be served. It was close to closing time, yet none of the menu items were available.
They were clearly understaffed. There was only one person trying to handle both the restaurant and the bar. While she attempted to be friendly, the interaction still felt cold and unwelcoming.
Once we finally ordered, the wait time was excessive. When the food arrived, it was a complete disappointment. Poor quality and not worth the wait or the price.
Overall, this place was a disaster. Definitely would not recommend.

We were the first customers on a Sunday. The staff was accommodating and very friendly. They even changed to music to please us. My friend wanted biscuits n gravy n their crunchy chicken n fries! They were creative with the billing giving her children’s servings n prices. I had their French Toast n crunchy bacon! The food was memorable so we went back each day n Fairbanks!
