Absolutely lovely restaurant on the central east side. Indoor and outdoor areas, full bar, and fantastic happy hour. You can definitely get full and eat cheap with this happy hour.

This was our 2nd time dining here. The first time was our first date a year ago. It was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing. The service was fantastic. We will definitely come back many more times. The rotating seasonal menu slaps! I have the duck bacon and fried egg. Ate every bit of it. We also had the warm apple fritters with a bourbon glaze. Demolished those as well. I recommend this establishment to all my friends and people from out of town when I’m bartending. And I always will!

I’ve been here many times since 2016 and the food has always been really delectable! This time we had a meeting with a couple of work friends. I got the crisp chicken thighs. The skin was not too salty, Perfectly crispy, wish there was more mashed potatoes underneath! My friends got the burger and pork carnitas . Sides shared were the mashed potatoes and grits. Highly recommend THOSE! The banana fosters beignets looked so good at the table next to us but we were all stuffed , happily.

Lizzie was our server and she was friendly, hospitable and accommodating! This is my second time dining here and both times I received great service. Their food is amazing and they have one of the best happy hour deals in Austin! They have giant fans in the back patio so even during this Texas heat, you can comfortably sit outside! We ordered the truffled deviled eggs, fried chicken, and a few cocktails. Previously I’ve gotten the burger, beignets and banana pudding. Lots of items that are seasonal and rotate. I recommend this place to anyone looking for southern comfort upscale food with affordable prices!

One of the best places to eat in Austin. High quality food. Get different things to share with friends. Try to save room for dessert.

Top notch food, great friendly service, beautiful atmosphere. Went here on a recent trip Austin with a friend, it was phenomenal. We started off with homemade blue cheese and bacon stiffed tots with homemade buttermilk ranch sauce. We also got a side of buttermilk biscuits and they did not disappoint. Signature cocktails were spicy and unique, would like to have tried them all. Entrees were slow cooked beef shoulder for me and bone in filet mignon. Oh man that was probably top three best bites of steak I’ve ever had. This place leaves no detail out, everything is spot on. Cant even imagine someone’s not giving this place a full 5 star review. If your in the area don’t pass on the salty sow. Pro tip: when trying to get reservations go ahead and do it online from the link Google provides, was able to get a table in less than 30 minutes. Also had desert here, the pecan bread pudding was another top notch food experience, don’t pass it up, we only live one.
