I’m so happy this place is here because now I don’t have to go far for an A+ lobster roll. Their seafood is top quality, fresh, and the bun is toasted and buttered. Some people skip that last part (Jake’s).

The food is good, but the prices are what I’d call robbery. They charge $16 for a 10-piece spicy salmon roll… You’re better off going 5-10 minutes down the road to Asaka or another sushi joint to get your money’s worth… you can get the same amount of food for half the price.

A little pricy for the fresh fish…didn’t buy any fresh fish…it didn’t look as fresh as I’ve seen at other fish markets. (We were there at 2:30 on Friday). The place is new, clean and well organized. We ordered 3 lobster rolls only received 2…disappointing, as we were on our way to a friend’s house for lunch. Luckily we had bought a few shrimp rolls that we were planning on taking home, but instead we had them as part of our lunch. They were ok, but I would never order them again. My friend bought some of the prepared Sushi, which she took home to her husband- he gave it rave reviews. I will shop there again, the lobster roll at $22 was the best I have had on the South Shore. Their hours are convenient, 11-6, Mon-Sat. They are new so still getting their organizational and communication feet under them.

I highly recommend Salty Days Fish Co in Hingham. Tastiest lobster roll I have had in a long time. Crab cake was also delicious. Friendly service. All the fish looked very fresh and presentation was nicely done. Can’t wait to go back!
