My wife and I had a fantastic time here for our date! We stopped in during the afternoon and it was the perfect time to go – not too busy. Since it’s a smaller spot and parking can be limited, planning ahead definitely helped. It was our first visit, and the customer service was absolutely outstanding. The woman helping us was incredible – kind, welcoming and genuinely went above and beyond to make our experience special. The food was just as impressive. We tried the Buffalo Chicken, Nashville hot chicken and sausage pizzas. All were delicious but I’d recommend the Buffalo and Nashville. The cronut was the perfect sweet treat. We are looking forward to coming back for more amazing bread and delicious food!

Lunch time! My wife is running a road race tomorrow so she wanted to carb load in a fun way so we decided to give this place a shot.
It’s a small location that’s feels welcoming. It’s not fancy and that’s right up our alley.
We wanted to try the Salty Bread pizza and I also wanted a slice to compare it too. We ordered a buffalo chicken and margarita salty bread. And a regular pepperoni slice.
The slice was your average slice. Plenty good enough to satisfy the craving but nothing special. Now the Salty bread is very good. The bottom is crispy and the top is softer and easy to bite through. We enjoyed both of them and would return to get them again. The Buffalo had a lot of chicken on it and the margarita pizza was nice and mellow as expected.
I will return to try the Thai chicken and the cheeseburger which looks like a Big Mac style pizza which I wish I saw before ordering. I only noticed it on the menu and not the chalk board so hopefully it’s still a choice!
We overheard they sell the salty bread by itself. That would be good to grab a loaf and make things at home!

The pizza was amazing; it was flavorful and the thin crust provided for a great crunch.
The cronut itself was good but had too much filling.
Lastly, the wings were pretty good at first but the last couple at the end were almost cold? as if still frozen (I’m not really sure what that’s about but I’d try it again & see if that’s just a fluke)

My wife and I decided to try Salty Bread Pizza and we loved it! The pizza is really good and the saltiness of the bread adds flavor to everything. The sweet and sour chicken pizza was really sweet and I will definitely have it again. The staff was super friendly and brought our food out quickly. Overall, if you’re in Irondequiot, please try them out!

Is that really good luck here in the past but tonight they really fell short. It was over 30 minutes for our food to come out. The pizza was pretty crummy and burnt. We had a larger party tonight so got the chicken fritters as well as the boneless wings. There boneless wings are significantly larger portion wise. The portions that we got for the pizza also felt really small for $16.

Loved visiting the Salty Bread Cafe today! The storefront was clean and welcoming – I especially appreciated that college football was on! We ordered their buffalo chicken pizza which was on special, along with a few cannoli. I forgot to take a picture because I was drooling the whole way home from the smell. Definitely recommend!
