Great lunch at Salty Blue Fish & Chips. All the food was excellent and the choices were awesome. Beer, wine and great selection of sodas and bottled water. Owner was happy to see us and all the food was homemade. The chowder is terrific as it is a thinner version not seen too often. It was very well seasoned and tasted excellent. Outdoor seating available. If you don’t like seafood they have great burgers on the menu as well. Great for families as they have high chairs. Easy access for any ADA concerns. Great neighborhood place for a meal.

We stopped here after a trip to Issaquah for an event, it was the best decision ever. It is so hard to find good fish and chips, but you will find it here. By far the best fish and chips I have ever had, and the homemade tarter sauce and the chowder is amazing as well. The service was fast and they were extremely friendly.

My son actually picked this place out while we wait for my vehicle to be repaired on a trip away from home. It was so so so good! Definitely recommend for fresh yummy delicious fish! Helped pick me up for sure on this unexpected break down. It was a little spendy but honestly I’m finding out anything in Washington no matter of tourist area or not it’s spendy for food! However, I will say it all taste wonderful. Would definitely go again! I had the fish tacos with a spring salad and my son had the Salty Blue burger! Was all delicious!

First time visitor and was impressed with the tempura prawns and chips I got. Very friendly service. Im not a pickle guy but a guest at the table next to mine said they were the best pickles they’d ever had and went and asked for more. Ill be back to try a burger

We had sea bass fish and chips and clam chowder. Clam chowder was watery, little rundown texture. Flavor was ok.
Sea bass was good but lacking flavor if you eat it but itself. Their tarter and chipotle sauce were amazing!! So please dip the fish there.
Service was great! Four different employees came and checked on us. I will come back here for sure. They recently got robbed so they are not taking any cash.

Food is amazing! The best calamari we have had in the US. Service was quick and attentive. If you’re a local and haven’t eaten here- shame on you! If you’re visiting like we were- make this an affordable, delicious part of your stay.

I’ve been searching for excellent fish tacos ever since moving into the area from southern California and Salty Blue gets the gold! Crisp and huge chunk of fish cooked to perfection, no old oil flavors. Sauce and veg on the tacos are perfect. Both their regular french fries and sweet potato fries were also excellent. My go-to fish taco spot from now on.

Had a great experience here! The restaurant was clean, well-kept, and had a nice atmosphere. The burger was juicy and delicious, cooked just right. The hand-cut fresh potato fries were great—crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Also the entire menu is halaal!

Was in town for an appointment looking for a quick tasty bite to eat and seen reviews on the fish tacos and potato cakes and have to say I’m very happy I stopped here! The potato cakes are cooked perfectly and unique not like any potato one had before, very crunchy on the outside and soft yet firm on the inside perfectly seasoned. I had my fish Taco battered and the fish was cooked perfectly slightly sweet tasting with the perfect amount of crunch on the outside to the soft flakiness of the fish inside. Whatever sauce they use dipping for the potato cakes as well as the sauce they put on the tacos is super tasty! Definitely recommend and would come back if in town again or even make a trip just to eat here. The portions were perfect as well and very filling. The 2 gentlemen working the counter were very friendly and informative. The restaurant was clean and quiet, with a good atmosphere.
