A Delicious Find at Saltwater Cafe in Point Roberts
Our lunch at Saltwater Cafe today in Point Roberts was a true treat! From the perfectly prepared main courses to the delectable desserts and outstanding service, this cafe is a gem.
The Reuben I ordered was simply divine. The corned beef was tender and flavorful, the sauerkraut had just the right tang, and the Russian dressing tied it all together beautifully on perfectly grilled rye bread. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their grilled cheese, a testament to the care they put into even the simplest of dishes.
We couldn’t resist trying an assortment of their baked goods for dessert, and we were certainly not disappointed. Each item was clearly made with high-quality ingredients and a lot of care. Everything was prepared flawlessly, leaving us wanting more.
Beyond the fantastic food, the service was truly outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel incredibly welcome.

A cozy little café with a welcoming atmosphere. It seems to have many regulars, which really shows how loved this place is. Despite its small size, the service is quick, and the selection of baked goods is impressive. Highly recommended 🙂

They do need to upgrade their expresso machine as it makes an annoying sound which is very loud and disrupt you if you are ordering or talking to the person taking your order.
Coffee was good! And if you are planning to have lunch probably come here too don’t go to the restaurant across the street!

The Saltwater Café is a quaint little gem only a few feet away from the ocean. There is lots of outside patio seating, ample street parking, and is still very affordable by today’s standards. For breakfast we had eggs Benedict, 3 fresh bacon n’ egg breakfast bagels, and all complimented with tasty iced Americanos.
What separates this café from most, is the owner ( Tamra ) and her amazing , friendly and very kind staff.
We will definitely be back and comes highly recommended !

Saltwater Café is a definite stop while in Point Roberts. The grilled cheese with mushrooms is the absolute best ever. Don’t forget to eat a large quantity of cakes and other goodies. You won’t be disappointed.
