It brings me great pleasure to have experienced and wonderful establishment like saltgrass in Pasadena. Not only was the food perfect but the waitress was super hard core into her job and got a fat tip from me. You don’t see that often anymore. Food was excellent had the 10 oz steak and shrimp with baked potato and side salad. Well, worth the price. Try the frozen crown and coke while you’re down there,won’t disappoint.

Plenty of parking once you get there. I always recommend making a reservation. Service is great but the timing of your drinks and food can take awhile. Their steaks are decent. Their hamburgers with brisket is my favorite . Along side with their queso and brisket appetizer.

Unfortunately, the service was not good today. It was not busy at all and it took our server 20 minutes just to get our drinks. Then we had to ask him if we could get some bread. Our server had a really bad attitude and seemed to be upset about something. The food came out, but the steak had very little flavor, this is not the taste I was hoping for. Everything was excellent. Service not so good. Caleb could of did better. He was just slow when we asked for things. Bread, refills, sauce, add-ons etc. I will try it again. It does beat the Texas road house & the bread was really hard . Not sure why

My review will be based on customer service, food, and atmosphere. Originally, we stopped at Texas Roadhouse. The parking lot situation there is not car friendly so we decided to look for another place to eat. During our search, Saltgrass came up. So here we are. First visit and will be our last. We sat at the bar, and surprisingly, it was not busy. We ordered our drinks and waited about 15 minutes to place our food order. While some side items are an upcharge. I did not expect it to be as high as it was. I do not recommend that you get the asparagus. As you can see, these were scranny and had no taste. I also ordered a pork chop that was lightly seasoned (which is what I asked for). What I did not ask for was the greasy aftertaste. The sweet potato was descent. I would hope so considering the upcharge. The service was so and so. Not great just mediocre. While this should have been brought up to the manager. I felt that my disappointment would have been on deaf ears. Let me clarify my statement. While sitting at the bar, I happened to notice someone who I thought to be the manager came up to the bar register and aggressively slide her manager card and aggressively touch the screen. So, with that observation, I felt that my concerns on our dinner would have been on deaf ears. The atmosphere was descent. I feel that everything that we ate was overpriced. We could have gotten this half the cost at Texas Roadhouse. Now we know. We won’t be back.

Place is beautiful didn’t have to make line was seated quickly. Staff very friendly and food very good but their steaks definitely out of this world delicious. First time coming here and definitely not last so we got a rewards card. The decorations are amazing very nice place and definitely recommend.

My last experience wasn’t so good due to my shrimp and steak tasting burnt and no flavor on my food whatsoever. I decided to give them another try, and it was not disappointing at all. This time, I ordered the cheese burger with an extra patty and extra slice of cheese with fries. I’m a happy camper now. I’ll go again in the future. Second chances are definitely worth it in the restaurant business

I ordered the tenderloin tips on the lunch menu to go & it was served in a bowl all layered together. Mashed potatoes, meat & mushrooms. The bowl was stuffed so full it was spilling out when I opened. The food was good as always, but guys presentation goes a long way.

Varied menu for lunch options. Quick seating despite lunch rush. Service was helpful even with a large party. The chicken fried steak with green beans made for a delicious lunch. Green beans were an unexpected delight, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The white gravy for the chicken fried steak was an excellent accompaniment.
