Staff held the door open for me and then the hostess seated me immediately. Server also showed up immediately to take my beverage order. He delivered my drink with fresh bread and butter. He asked if I had any questions. He answered a few and took my order. Hot Soup and chilled Caesar Salad came out next . It was all perfectly timed. When I completed each course the empty bowls were removed without hesitation. Then the main course came. First bite I knew I had a fantastic steak to enjoy. I cant find fault, only pleasure. My ribeye steak was the top 1 or 2 that I have ever had for a steak under $40.

Delicious Lunch at Saltgrass on Richey Road!
Stopped by Saltgrass on Richey Road for lunch and was absolutely impressed! I ordered from the appetizer menu and went with the 4 Range Rattlers — jumbo jalapeños stuffed with shrimp, jack cheese, cilantro, and served with ranch dressing. They were perfectly balanced with just the right amount of kick and flavor. Every bite was a delight!
To round out the meal, I added a side of Brussels sprouts, and oh my — they were cooked to absolute perfection. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned beautifully.
Our server Jordan was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back to this location for another delicious lunch!

Overall very good experience when we were seated.
But the lady at the reception was not amiable. We can late, 1 hour before to closing time and she was obviously not happy to receive new customers.
Luckily the waiter was very professional and friendly.

the service was amazing, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was also really nice. Restrooms were super clean and the manager also came to check on us after we were done eating . Now for the food, one of the best meals I’ve had in years not days weeks or months but years. Everything came out hot and fresh didn’t have to send anything back because it was barely warm or made incorrectly. The waitress was very helpful in letting me know about medium plus which was perfect. Medium rare is to rare and if you ask for medium well most the time it’s well done and dry. The potato soup was among the best I’ve had, t bone was made to perfection and the macaroni is the best I’ve had at any steakhouse. My wife got ribs and fried shrimp which we also highly recommend. Lastly the range rattlers are a definite must have. And I just want to let it be know again the service was great, will definitely be going back to this location which is 30 minutes away, when I have 2 locations 15 minutes from my house but have had bad experiences at both those locations. Humble location should be the standard for all Saltgrass restaurants and for any restaurant. Perfect example of a true dining experience, thank y’all so much.

Marcos was an excellent waiter during our visit to Saltgrass. From the moment we sat down, he was very welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. He checked on us regularly without being overwhelming and had a great sense of humor that made the experience even more enjoyable. Marcos was knowledgeable about the menu, gave helpful recommendations, and made sure our food and drinks came out perfectly. Overall, his friendly attitude and great service made our visit memorable. Celebrated my great uncle’s birthday party, 92 yrs old, they were able to accommodate all 40 of us. No complaints just want to ask about the door in the ladies restroom. The outside says ladies and the inside of the door says men, please explain..when I was washing my hands I looked up and saw men on the door, thought I lost it for a moment and thought I was in the men’s restroom, too funny! My chicken sandwich was the bomb but the cheesecake wasn’t the same as I had before, not as large and not as good!

My favorite steakhouse in Humble and one of my go-to spots when I’m in the area. It’s a great place to meet up with friends, relax, and enjoy a really good meal. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, making it easy to sit back and spend quality time catching up without feeling rushed.

Staff is friendly, smiling and engaging! I’ve been three times and have only gotten the 12oz. Pat’s Ribeye that is served with a dollop of butter on top…mouth watering flavor every time!! I order medium and it’s still somewhat pink in the middle and their ribeyes have been consistently marbled which produces a juicy steak. House salad is great, the beer is cold, the restrooms are clean and the whole place has a cool steak house look and feel to it. Just go, you won’t regret it and you certainly won’t leave there feeling hungry!
