Big fan of Saltgrass & enjoy coming in with my family, making memories & having a good meal. However, the service today was lacking in speed & efficiency. Our waitress was great & did her job but the problem seemed to be with the kitchen??? Maybe short staffed or whatever, but I expect much better from Landry’s.

Exceptional food, great service(Clayton) and great portions. Server guided me towards what his favourites were and we were not disappointed. The potato soup was 10/10. Steak was amazing, jalapeño appetizer amazing and the cheesecake was unreal too.

Went there for dinner…food was excellent only one complaint. We ordered an appetizer and on the front of their menu it’s showing a picture of four of the crab appetizers for a certain price, but only brought out three. We showed it to our waiter and in turn he went and showed it to the manager. Came back out with one more. I told him that is really false advertising/ very misleading. If the order only consists of three then they shouldn’t have a picture on the menu and the pricing showing four. They were very nice about it and agreed with what I said. Other than that everything was excellent.

The food is great. I think they may be understaffed. We had to wait an enormous amount of time for everything. We rarely saw our waitress. I don’t think she was purposely being slow or ignoring us, I genuinely think they had her doing too many jobs. The place was not crowded.

The food was good. My husband loves their salmon. I had the grilled chicken. Both were well seasoned and cooked. Our service was great. We asked for a quiet area and was put at a table not near any other customers, but we were not forgotten as can happen at other places. It was a nice relaxing way to end our Monday.

Chicken fried chicken, fried mushrooms and Lonh Island Texas Tea had too much sweet and sour and the Rose Frozen Champagne Rita I had wasn’t made the way it says on the drink menu, but it was fine. The food…phenomenal! And service wasn’t great…..we waited long periods of time for drinks and the appetizer, but our waitress was super sweet and even gave the Houston Police Officer I was with a $27 discount for his service. They were pretty busy for a Sunday night so going back is a definite!!!

So the customer service was good and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our reservation. YET, as you see per the photos. The food portions are small. Our food did not come out fresh. Some of our food was cold. My husband’s Brussel sprouts were burnt and everyone who had a steak said it was fatty. My broccoli was undercooked and cold. But our bill was over $100. Definitely overpriced.
