The effort is definitely noticed.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions, or be random, they may have what you ask for.
I asked if they had cinnamon to add to the butter. They said we have it already in it, and went and got some.
Definitely ask for Cinnamon butter!
I also asked to be seated in a corner, and it was available. I imagine because people care more to watch tv.

They brought a pitcher so that I could refill my own water.

I had a pretty good time at this place. If it wasn’t for my friend celebrating his birthday here, I probably wouldn’t have made it here lol I will say I love the decorations here. I felt like a hunter and a strong man. The food I had was great and the staff was really nice. For those who enjoy a good piece of meat and great service, this is the place for you.

Dined here Friday night with friend. Curtis was our server. Received complimentary bread and butter. Cocktail was Desert Bloom. Ordered Salmon Oscar for entree which came with fried asparagus and side salad. Brussel sprouts chosen for side dish. Everything was delicious. Will return. I’ve dined at this location multiple times

Food was good. Brisket queso was delicious. Husband got the bone in ribeye. Asked for medium rare but came out rare. i wouldn’t get the sweet potato fries again. They were thin and came out lukewarm.
Service was friendly but they kept trying to take stuff off our table that we were still eating. I get pre-bussing tables but we were literally in the middle of eating.

Pick up/ take home. Pictures should explain it all. Hardly any food in containers! Had two orders like this and 60 bucks later…. Very disappointed! Staff is wonderful and atmosphere is good, but this is unacceptable.

The experience for this restaurant was nice. The staff was nice and helpful and the atmosphere was comfy. The food came at proper times and the food itself tasted good, looked good too. The service was helpful with menu options and patient but there were some mistakes to orders but I believe they were just new.

I hadn’t been to a Saltgrass in over 10 years, but it seems to have been long overdue. This one is located in Meyerland Plaza, not too far from the Texas Medical Center if you find yourself in that area. My wife and I had a great time at this one. While the food was excellent, what really surprised us was the quality service. At the time of writing, the World’s Championship Barbecue is underway and Rodeo season is about to start, so the restaurant was packed. Even so, our orders were correct, hot, and came out extremely fast. On top of that, our server, Miles, was very kind and thoughtful. The appetizer that we ordered comes with tortilla chips, but they didn’t initially come to the table. We later found out that Miles has noticed that the chips weren’t fresh, and made sure to have fresh ones sent to the table instead. It’s a small detail, but one that made us feel valued as customers. I hope all of your servers take the same approach. All that being said, it’s a great spot for a hearty meal at the end of a long week. I expect that you won’t be disappointed!

We came for my mother in law’s birthday on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm and the service was extremely slow and horrible. There was no organization and they forgot about our table for over an hour. It was an extremely exhausting experience and all 9 of us agreed that we won’t be back. It wasn’t worth the hassle. They brought the checks out wrong and we had to continually ask for everything. From water to fresh bread as we waited over an hour to get our orders taken. They served plenty of tables before us. If not for the gratuity they would not have received a tip. Management like to talk and make excuses. He said that if we would have complained immediately then he could fix the checks but because we waited til our food was out there was nothing he could do, it was so many things wrong again, exhausting. We’re just now being checked out at 6pm!
Update: I was contacted by management with and apology/excuse and was told I would be accommodated for some of one of my bills on 1/29/26. However I have received nothing as promised. Do with this information as you please because it seems that it will not get better and they don’t care. I was hoping to go back and have a better experience and update my review. But the higher ups don’t seem to care about the customer service aspect of the restaurant either. As of 2/17/26.
Being that I’m in the customer care industry I’m greateful to have learned so much of what not to do and how not to treat people. My clients would never feel like I don’t care. I can only pray that management gets it together or it will not last.
