I was here with a friend on Saturday 2/21/2026. I had not been to a Saltgrass in many years.
Our person was Lalya. She was amazing! She was pleasant, helpful, attentive and patient.
We shared the spinach and artichoke dip.
We each ordered the Hill Country Salad. One grilled and one fried chicken. They were delicious. The meal was finished with a delicious slice of cheesecake.

We are never disappointed by the service or quality of the food. Steaks are cooked to perfection! We found out yesterday they stopped serving crab cakes. That was our favorite appetizer. Carrot cake is delicious. It takes me 2 days to eat that huge piece after hearty dinner.

This was our first time dining inside a Saltgrass after usually just grabbing to-go at the airport, so I was really looking forward to the experience. I made an online reservation through OpenTable and requested a booth. When we arrived, I received the text that our table was ready, but we were seated at a table in a busy aisle. When I mentioned that I had requested a booth, I was told there were none available. After a long day on the road, we just took the table, but it was disappointing since the option was offered in the app.

Our server, Priscilla(sorry if spelled wrong), was the highlight of the visit. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, and honestly, her great service kept the experience from being worse. The issue came with the pacing of the meal. From the moment we ordered, everything came out almost at once. We barely had a few bites of our appetizer before our salads were dropped off, and then the entrées followed right behind. It felt very rushed, and we didn’t have time to enjoy each course.

The steak itself was cooked absolutely perfect, but the sides weren’t very flavorful and left much to be desired. Another concern was the location of our table. Twice servers carrying large trays passed so close they nearly went over my husband’s head. It was stressful and distracting, which is why we usually prefer a booth.

On the positive side, parking was easy, and the bathrooms were clean. Our bill was over $100, and while the steak was good, the rushed service, seating issue, and unsafe table location made the overall experience fall short of expectations.

I truly appreciate Priscilla’s service, she was wonderful. But I do hope management takes note of the pacing and seating arrangements to improve the guest experience.

This was our first time in, what an amazing experience. We were greeted at the door with a smile. The young lady seated us right away. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Our server Allen was awesome! He made suggestions, he was extremely pleasant and patient. Our food came out quick and tasted excellent We will definitely be returning.

Came in for lunch on a Thursday with some coworkers. Wait staff for attentive and friendly. Restaurant was fairly empty during lunch and they had no problem seating our party of 6. We started our meal with the brisket queso. This was really good but the brisket felt a little overcooked. I ordered a 16oz ribeye, medium rare. Steak was cooked perfectly and nice and tender. Steak itself was lacking in seasoning, really my only complaint about it. The fried onions were crispy and delicious. The cesar salad was way over dressed. Not sure if it was the thickness of the dressing or just too much used, but the flavor was too overpowering. All and all, not bad. I’d come back if someone wanted to go but wouldn’t seek it out.

What a wonderful experience!
We were seated right away and switched to a booth with no problem. It got very busy shortly after arriving, but that did not affect the quality of our food or our service.
We LOVE a good happy hour, and that’s what we got! (Especially in this economy )

Oh and the house margaritas were 10/10!!

How have I lived this long without trying Saltgrass?! The ribs basically fell off the bone and into my soul. Service was so fast and friendly, but never “hurry up and chew” vibes. Even the manager popped by like, “Where have you been all my life?” Don’t worry sir—we’re definitely coming back. Food, service, vibes = all 10/10.

Came in and were seated promptly. Melissa our waitress was so kind and came to our table often despite being super busy.
The queso was super flavorful and the brisket was perfect! The chips to me were super salty but my husband did not think so, so it’s no big deal.
My husband mentioned that the potato soup was seasoned well and the potatoes were cooked through, he just wished it was creamier.
The shrimp was some of the best and freshest I have ever tasted for a steak restaurant. Cooked to perfection and the spice was spot on.
Our steaks were good, rough around the middle but otherwise they were decent.
Overall, super delicious and well prepared food. Will absolutely come again.

Eating at Saltgrass was a good experience. The food was delicious and our server was wonderful.

The top sirloin was good and the fried shrimp was great, but the Riley was ESPECIALLY delicious. The potato soup made a great appetizer and I really liked the complimentary bread.

My wife has a gluten allergy (celiac) so we were a little worried considering there wasn’t a dedicated gluten free menu, but we just mentioned the concern to the server and my wife had no problems.

I gave 1 less star on atmosphere because the men’s bathroom had a bunch of cowgirl pin-up all around the men’s bathroom and thats just trashy.
