The rest of the food was good. Wife had a center cut steak, one daughter had the salmon and the other got a shrimp and artichoke pasta dish that she really liked.
Thanks SG Team for a beautiful night after a long week.
We visited Soulgrass Steakhouse after seeing an online offer for two lunch entrees for $25. However, when we arrived, the waiter told us that the offer was for a different steakhouse, despite it being advertised on their website. After showing him the ad, he seemed unsure and said he needed to talk to his manager but never followed up. Instead, he steered us toward pricier options on the menu, and we ended up paying $29 per steak instead of the advertised $25 for two. The pushy upselling felt uncomfortable and misleading.
That said, the food was genuinely delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and a real treat. The fries were also great, and overall, the quality of the food was excellent. The waiter was friendly, aside from the sales push, and the overall service was decent.
It’s a shame that the confusion (or refusal) to honor the advertised promotion left a bad taste. It felt like a bit of a bait-and-switch situation. If it weren’t for that, this could easily have been a five-star review. Hopefully, they clarify their promotions and avoid this kind of confusion in the future.
