Considering this place was highly recommended and boasted as one of the best restaurants in the island, it was extremely underwhelming.
The atmosphere was lovely but even that was eclipsed by several large families, around 20 people, who were staying at the resort that weren’t even patrons of the restaurant yet were still seated next to us while they ate McDonald’s that they brought in. I’m not hating on McDonald’s, I enjoy it from time to time, but when we are paying a decent amount of money for what is being marketed as fine dining, the experience is ruined by loud teenagers and buzzed parents disciplining their kids.
We waited over an hour for a NY strip and a Tuna steak and when we got the meal it was extremely underwhelming. They were served barely warm, I’m assuming they were ready prior but the server forgot to bring the food. The steak was around 60 dollars USD and I was expecting something seared well and seeing as how I asked for medium it would still be juicy. But what I got was nothing of the sort. It tasted as if it was microwaved.
I never complain about food at restaurants and will generally just eat a sub par meal and go about my day, but again, this was our last meal on our trip and we’re very much looking forward to it but we were quite upset. I feel it is fair to give other people a heads up.
With all that being said the staff was accommodating and discounted the price which we appreciated, so in that regard they did us right.
There is a lot of delicious food on the island, I would recommend literally anything else. Maybe if you are guest at the hotel it is worth going to but it isn’t worth going out of your way.

We stayed at the Morgan resort and we dined here a couple of times. They have good food option on their menu. The meals are well cooked and we enjoyed the ocean view. The portions are small but they are tasty.

Sometimes perfect, sometimes terrible. I don’t know if it depends on the chef or staff. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s a bit of a letdown. The pool staff is always on hand, from the pool bar to the waitresses. Overall, one of the best hotels on St. Maarten.

Went here for a simple solo lunch. I enjoyed the pool view, the atmosphere and my salad was refreshing. The menu had much options to choose from but I decided to take the Caesar Salad. The service was slightly slow but the waitstaff was pleasant. Would definitely visit again and recommend.
