It was wonderful!! We went towards the end of their day but we were greeted and taken care of by Cam. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer person to take care of us. He was super through and a downright nice guy. The food… let’s get to that. They gave us the breakfast menu. We had 5 people in our party. I got the country fried steak skillet. It was delicious!!! The hash browns were so great!! The steak and the gravy melted in my mouth. THAT BISCUIT y’all!!! Go get it!! It was so so good!! Needless to say, we will be back!!

Wait was short for a full restaurant. Was pretty hot inside. Was told they had pot roast on special then after ordering a little while later informed there was no pot roast. Food took a little while but they were busy when we first got there. Had coke products but the soda wasn’t quite right on carbonation or something. I like some softness on a toasted sandwich but the bread on Philly steak felt too wet or steamy or something. Side of broccoli was a little over done and green beans a little bland. Great mashed potatoes. Had to send meatloaf back because it was very cold almost felt refrigerated. The loaf itself had a decent taste, texture was to be desired. They pour on some 80% ketchup mixture at the end which I didn’t really like. The ketchup coating on meatloaf should be cooked on so it makes a gooey candy like shell. Overall I would give them another chance since they have some interesting items but if this was a usual experience then I would not continue business

Visited my friend in the area on Friday 8/18. We decided to grab breakfast but she works so much until she did not know a breakfast spot. She googled, found this place. I want to say it is the best breakfast I had in a LLLOOONNGGG time. The food was well seasoned. I’m not a biscuit girl, BUT this one right here!!! Yes very good, very homemade. The ONLY complaint…The coffee was weak as water. If they can perfect that, they would be The Best Breakfast Place in the World

First impressions are everything. We are here from Virginia for baseball. So far our experience in the area has been amazing. However, after a game today our team decided to have lunch here and it was great timing because my family was hungry. Upon arrival our team was already seated so we told the individuals at the door that we were with the team. They proceeded to tell us that it would be a 30 minute wait. We asked why when our team is already seated. No explanation. No apologies. Just a dumbfounded face. We decided to leave and take our money somewhere else because why would we wait 30 minutes while our team I’m sure would have ordered their food by then. Mind you we have a hungry baseball player and a 5 year old son ready to sit down. My husband and I are business owners and we first hand know how to make things work to accommodate our clients. Apparently this place doesn’t know how to do that. We did not get to eat with our team and we left with our stomachs empty.

We decided to try this place one Sunday. It was about a 30 mins drive from our home. There was a wait when we arrived. Wasn’t too bad. It was worth the wait. The pancakes were by far the best I’ve ever had. Crispy edges. The food was made with love and very fresh. The chicken and waffle appetizer was not only tasteful they were so cute and small. The service was wonderful. Everyone was friendly. I see why people love this place. Best of Al it’s black owned so we will continue to support this business! Be sure to check them out!

Great mimosas with a nice variety of flavors. We were a group of 6. Everyone food came out good. We had a burger, 2 orders of shrimp and grits, a order of bourbon chicken and waffles and a Southwest skillet. I didn’t care for the skillet but the biscuit it came with was really good.

What a delicious surprise. I expected a mediocre experience. But, it was not mediocre at all. The service was excellent (Kelly) and the food beyond my wildest imagination. I ordered the Chicken fried steak skillet. The skillet was hardly big enough to hold all the food. My tastebuds exploded from the combination of eggs, chicken fried steak, potatoes and succulent gravy. My hubby ordered the Cheesesteak omelette. He also received an enormous amount of food. He throughly enjoyed the flavors. If you want really good food, go to Salt and Pepper Cafe. You will not be disappointed.
