All of the following is amazing: the lamb chops, tandoor chicken, and the cheese kulcha. I really appreciate that they make sure to remove bones from the lamb curry. The real star is the baby spinach pakoda – nothing makes spinach taste better than deep frying it! The mango lassi is a little bland and could use more spice, but the food is excellent and very reasonably priced.

We ordered takeout and the quality of the food is excellent – really enjoyed the freshness of it all, including Butter Masala, Kadai Masala, and garlic naan. We selected “spicy” which I would equate to habanero heat if you’re more familiar with Mexican food – it was lovely and well-balanced with the flavors of the dishes. I would assume the “very spicy” is right on par with true Indian spicy. The menu has such a nice selection, and given this great first impression, we’re looking forward to trying more items next time!

I have gone to old location many a times. This is the first time of our family dinner to the new location. The ambience is really good. We have ordered Achari chicken, Pan fried goat biryani and chicken 65 biryani. Every dish was at top notch. Really after many days I have tasted best mutton biryani. My toddler too loved the biryani.

I came here after almost a year and noticed they moved locations and have a nice clean modern inside. I had the samosa chaat and it was 1 of the best I had in the area and my filtered coffee was perfect. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, Great atmosphere! Will definitely be returning with my family. I highly recommend.

Incredible authentic flavors! The Gongura Chicken Biryani and kebabs are must-tries. Large portions and great value for the price. The service can be a bit slow when they’re busy, but the quality of the food makes it totally worth the wait. A solid go-to for Indian food in North Austin….

Completely misleading reviews – waste of money and time.
We chose this restaurant for a family dinner after seeing multiple food bloggers’ highly positive reviews and ratings. Unfortunately, the reality was far from what was advertised. Those reviews created high expectations, but the actual food quality was extremely disappointing.

Despite clearly requesting mild spice, the dishes were overloaded with chili powder, making them unpleasant to eat. What made it worse was that there was no real flavor—just heat without taste. Even basic dishes failed to meet minimum standards, which is surprising given the hype online.

This experience made it clear that many of the glowing food blogger reviews do not reflect an honest dining experience. Either the standards are inconsistent, or the reviews are exaggerated. As a paying customer, this was frustrating and disappointing.

Not recommended for families or anyone expecting authentic, well-balanced flavors.

The longest I’ve ever waited for a takeout order. Almost an hour. I ordered at 7:12 pm didn’t get my food until 7:57pm.
$16 for a small portion of food. The worst Tikka Masala I had ever taste with two lumps of chicken thighs.
Needless to say I’ll never eat here again. I should have went to Tarka or Masala Wok.
I went here based off the reviews, very misleading.

The food so far first time there was really good. We were impressed. We had the chicken skewed dish that came out on a sizzling plate and was excellent. Nam bread was perfect worth a visit if you like Indian food.

Outright deceptive reviews – time and money wastage.
This restaurant was selected as a family dinner due to the numerous favorable recommendations posted by food bloggers. Regrettably, the reality was quite different to what was depicted. High expectations were generated using the glowing feedback, yet the quality of the food was exceedingly below expectations.

Do not recommend to families or to anyone who expects to taste the true flavors of the food, well balanced.
