This is everything you want in a breakfast sandwich! The brioche bun is the perfect texture. The bacon and sausage are unreal – so full of flavor. We drove 30 minutes for this sandwich and plan to make the drive many more times because it is that good!

Ok we have wanted to try the food here for quite some time although they have always been closed when we were there. They close shortly after noon so get there in the morning. We split a sausage egg sandwich and truffle potatoes. The flavor was excellent and the potatoes had just the right amount of spice. We will definitely return to try the chicken. There was a line for orders and now I know why.

Amazing Egg sandwich.
Got the bacon egg and cheese.
Bacon is elite, and the rolls are very fresh. I would guess they come from the bakeys in the same building.
Even the coffee was great.
The vibe of this place is the best. Great decor and a chill kick it spot.
Customer service was top tier, although the girl at the counter was quiet.
Must try.
This is the only place you should be going for breakfast on a Sunday morning

Salt Egg City is hands down the best breakfast spot in Salt Lake! Their bacon and egg sandwich on a brioche bun is absolute perfection—crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, and a soft, buttery bun that ties it all together. Every bite is packed with flavor, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or savoring your morning, this place hits the spot. If you love breakfast sandwiches, Salt Egg City is a must-visit! Highly recommend!

Salt Egg City is wonderful! I had the bacon egg and cheese sandwich and it was so good. I’m not the biggest fan of super runny eggs so they did over hard for me and it was perfect. The bacon is thicker cut and not 90% fat like some places can be. $9.25 was a great price, very worth it. Will definitely come back!

What more can I say then I have driven an hour and a half twice this week to eat here at Salt Lake City. I tried this breakfast sandwich spot over a year ago in a different location and was so sad when I saw they had disappeared. This week I saw its new location Maybe by accident as I was driving around Salt Lake. My son and I stopped immediately had a breakfast sandwich and came back twice more within the week! Their brioche is divine and their bacon melts in your mouth! The staff is so Happy friendly and kind! This is definitely my new favorite spot in Salt Lake! I also found out that they do surprise bags on Friday on the “too good to go” app. Give these guys a chance and you won’t be disappointed!

I had my food delivered via Doordash, so I can’t speak to the atmosphere or service but if its anything like the food it would be TOP TIER! It was absolutely delicious, beautiful and HOT! WOW what a great find! Today I WIN!

Great secret spot (at least for now, until everyone learns about it!). Had good indoor seating, and outdoor seating too. The music outside was a bit loud but not bad. The staff greeted us in a super friendly way, and told us all about the menu (the sausage is sourced right from the farmer’s market!). And then there’s the food: you can tell they love what they are doing. From the melt-in-your-mouth brioche to the fresh avocado to their custom smooth and mild salsa, everything was delicious. We saw people getting take-out, and considering the food quality with no Sunday brunch lines like everywhere else, it’s no wonder!

They crushed it! I got the SEC burger and added bacon. An amazing sandwich. I LOVE breakfast sandwiches and I’ve been trying to find any in Utah that can actually be called good. These are amazing! A little on the pricier side especially with adding bacon but the bacon is thick cut and great! I will be coming back to try more! Good work guys, keep it up!
If you’re still not sold, just do it, you won’t be disappointed!

Tried them twice for breakfast and both times the food was disgusting. Ten dollars a pop for breakfast sandwiches by themselves so they better be on point and the bacon and sausage taste like a pig cooked it. Never tasted bacon cooked so poorly. It might be cool for everyone else but not me. The customer service and atmosphere is fire though
