Social Profile:

At SALT, our passionate commitment to sustainability inspires everything we do. We source quality ingredients from local farms and believe the shortest distance from the farm to the table is best. We only serve grass-finished beef, GMO-free chicken, and pork, and we purchase organic Wisdom Farm eggs from Haxtun, Colorado. By sourcing locally, we know where our produce comes from and the person who grew it. Not only does this showcase what farmers in Colorado do so well, but it gives our guests the opportunity to support their neighbors and friends. Our food bridges the gap between healthy, delicious, and sustainable, creating a unique experience for our guests.

Farm-to-table American eats with changing menu using local ingredients in cuisine & cocktails.

SALT was underwhelming. I ordered a tenderloin and my husband ordered roasted chicken and polenta. He thought the chicken was good but his polenta was cold, and my steak was only decent. What annoyed us the most was that our bill showed that the steak was $8 more expensive than it listed on the menu, and the wine was $2 more. We called them out on it and they fixed the steak price, but this shouldn’t even be an issue in a nice restaurant. Double check your bill if you go so you don’t get ripped off.

Absolutely awesome! We had no reservation and they squeezed us in for an amazing dinner. High end cuisine in an unpretentious setting. The staff are awesome, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was well prepared and creative. Can’t wait to go back!

Found this place walking around pearl street mall on a Monday. They were busy so we sat at the bar. Service was great here and drinks came fast (probably a perk of being at the bar).

I had the blackberry spritz sub gin. It was good but a bit too sweet imo. I was pleased to see they had three French whites on the glass wine offerings. French whites tend to be my fave whites so I ordered a glass of Charme de Loire—it went perfectly with the halibut and simple salad we shared. The halibut was very good, but I do feel it was a tad overdone—a shame as I love halibut. But the sides and sauce that came with it were excellent and perfectly cooked. I felt it was a tad on the heavy side for summer, so I was glad we also ordered a simple salad to go with it. The simple salad was indeed simple but it was 10/10, so good. And went perfectly with the fish and wine.

My H enjoyed the blueberry mocktail too. We skipped dessert.

Overall a good experience. I’d happily come back.

Food was good! We had the tomato soup and the gnocchi and both were delicious. Our one gripe was some of the service. The hostess was not interested in helping us and seemed like she could not care less about her job. We asked if we could be sat next to heaters on the patio (fall in Colorado) and she said yeah that’s the only table available (there were multiple available I don’t know if they were reserved it was just kinda weird sass). She sat us and then did not turn on the heater after being asked. We asked the server if he could turn it on and he did not for some time. I then returned to the hostess to ask if she could turn it on and she said “yeah I’ll ask them”. And then remained at the hostess station.
It was just kinda odd.

We had dinner tonight at Salt with Forest as our waiter ❤️
It was incredible –
Beet salad, mahi mahi and a wagu steak with a bottle of Valpolicella and Tiramisu

It’s been a couple of years since my wife and I had been there and it’s our new favorite restaurant in Boulder.
It was an amazing experience.
Bravo!

Sadly, this experience did not meet expectations. A six-ounce filet cost $67, with no sides included — everything is extra. The portion was small and the taste was average at best. The quality simply did not justify the price. Very disappointing overall.

My partner & I had such a wonderful date night this evening. Evan the bartender was so personable & excited about the mixology & exploration within the drinks offered. We had the pesto muscles paired with a delicious Caesar salad. Our experience could only be compared to the external happy dance one does when flavors &/or moments hit the spot & no words can describe. We send our love wholeheartedly. Thank you, Salt staff. Xoxo

We had an incredible experience hosting an event at SALT! The wine cellar had an amazing ambience, and the food and drinks were a huge hit with our entire group.

Brad was wonderful to work with while ironing out all of the details and made the planning process feel seamless. We also truly appreciated how accommodating the team was — we had a vegan attendee, and they were able to thoughtfully tweak the first course to meet their needs without issue.

During the event, Forrest and Holden were fantastic servers and made sure everyone’s glasses were always full, which our guests definitely noticed and appreciated.

Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and we received nothing but wonderful feedback from our group. We can’t wait to go back again and would highly recommend SALT to anyone looking for a beautiful space and an exceptional experience!

We hosted a wedding reception here in the cellar. The private room was perfect for 25 guests, could have easily had a few more. The decorations and ambiance were exquisite and brought out our winter solstice theme. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. I couldn’t imagine that evening being any better. Coordination to build the event was simple, punctual, and professional. Thank you SALT staff

Can’t wait to go back! Food and service (thank you Annabelle) were fantastic.

Annabelle made some strong recommendations including the salmon which was incredible.

We started with the palisade peach salad because we heard about palisade peaches and had to try them. There’s a lot going on with the salad.

My husband and I split the salmon and a tavern burger. The burger was fine but I’d try something more creative next time.

Wines by the glass were reasonably priced with good, global options.

We ended with the vegan carrot cake which we really liked. If chef added a little candied ginger to the plate, it would be exceptional.

We sat outside and enjoyed the people watching but the inside looked comfortable and fun.
