I only picked up smothered breakfast burritos and a smothered tamal. Loved the burritos, not so much the tamal, but definitely want to go back someday for lunch or dinner. If you’re a fan of Santiago’s you’ll definitely like this place.

This is a late review, we visited Salsa, Mexican restaurant. It was late in the evening around eight. They closeing at nine yet the food is still delicious and service great. We had a queso fundido. She started with the appetizer I had a sizzling steak fajita plate. My wife had combination plate. My son had a taco with fries and ketchup then we ordered two steak burritos and an enchiladas plate to go. Next time I come in I’m gonna to order the Mocahete. I heard Denver foodie left a good review on it. If you like my review you like thumbs up and press the follow button if you wanna know more

This is a very calm yet quick place. What I mean by that you see a lot of people go in and out. That’s just how great and fast the service is. It is calm so you can enjoy your food. The features, I’d love them. Looks very nice from inside you would never guess that. The food was delicious! The best part of it was that it tastes authentic and HOME MADE. My husband’s taste buds got thrown back 20 years. Yeah, right? just like his mom’s cooking. Surprisingly, their menu is great and offers so much variety from soups, to tacos, tamales, meal platters, desserts and alcohol. The pricing is reasonable. Overall, it was a great pleasant experience!

A horrible traumatic experience. I ordered posole and it was ok intill in went home and discovered the pork had cartliged that I couldn’t eat when I went back to complain and ask for my money back they said that’s how it comes and then had their regulars I guess they were, gang up on me telling me to donate plasma, and that I was psycho, and crazy and then when I left to call the cops they videoed me, laughing, and this was all because I complained about their nasty food. Believe me there’s better Mexican food else where.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Salsas Mexican Restaurant. First, the prices on the online menu don’t match the actual prices in the restaurant. Everything was about 70% higher than advertised, which felt misleading.
The food quality has taken a major hit. They’re now using store-bought sopes, which was a huge letdown. The chile relleno I ordered came with a solid block of cheese inside—not even melted! To top it off, we specifically asked for shredded beef flautas and were served chicken instead. The portions are much smaller, and the flavors just aren’t there anymore. Even the salsa has changed—it’s now very tomato-based and lacks the depth it used to have.
Overall, this place has gone downhill in both quality and value. I won’t be returning.

I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always good! The waitresses and waiters are very friendly and respectful! It’s nice and clean. Parking can be a little wonky. Definitely good Mexican food you can’t go wrong with any of the entrees.

Definitely worth the detour – you will not be disappointed. Food is excellent and staff was super friendly. Our party of 7 all tried different things and all enjoyed – from the tostadas to the tacos to the nachos – everything was great!
