My family and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant for a long time, and we have also recommended it to many people who have gone and supported it as well. Yesterday we were very surprised when it was time to pay, because this had NEVER happened to us before.
The total for the food was around $100–$110, yet we ended up paying $150. At no point were we notified that there is an extra fee for paying with a card, which I find very unreasonable considering that nowadays almost no one uses cash. This should be clearly disclosed beforehand, not discovered at the register.
Another issue was that an automatic gratuity was added. I understand tipping, and I am not complaining about the service because it was very good. However, automatically adding a 20% tip is not acceptable. Tipping should always be optional and based on the customer’s discretion. I am not obligated to cover the employee’s wages that is the employer’s responsibility. I tip according to the service I personally receive.
Had these charges been clearly communicated in advance, the experience would have been very different. Unfortunately, this is a place I will not return to, nor will I recommend again.

Salsas is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant. My favorite is the salmon dish but I’ve had most dishes and they have all been great. The drinks are so good, the frozen ones are great as well especially on a hot day. The staff is nice and welcoming.

This place was recommended to us by a friend and we are so happy we decided to come in. We had lunch here on Valentine’s Day and they sat us right away. The kitchen was a little backed up and to accommodate us, they gave us a free drink! The food was well worth the wait! it was as SO good!! We definitely will be back!

I ate there last night and I had the shrimp tacos. The fresh guacamole was fantastic and so were the tacos. The atmosphere was good and the servers besides our main server were good. Our main server wasn’t really listening when we were giving her our order and we had to repeat our orders several times. I said my order in Spanish and English so it wasn’t a problem of language. I still give her the benefit of the doubt, as the rest of the service was fine.

Been here on 2 separate occasions. The food and staff were amazing both times. I provided pictures from both dates, as you can see the food was presentable both times. The first time, it started raining shortly after, so the outside guests had to be brought inside. The staff politely asked if they could take one of the 2 tables, which was completely okay, I thought it was too much space anyways. The staff is very welcoming and friendly at all times. The food was amazing.
