Disappointed Experience
Visited Salsarita’s today and was really let down. The food looked like it had been sitting out for way too long — not fresh at all. The steak was extremely dry and tough to chew, like it had been cooked hours earlier and left under a heat lamp. Definitely not the quality I expected after paying $30. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.

This is the 2nd time within a month that I’ve went here and the food is only ok. But the main thing is that they have no ice for there drinks. The drinks that come out of the fountain machine are hot. Pretty gross. They have a sign up but you dont really think to look at the machine until you have already paid for your order. Ive always enjoyed this place but seems to me that it would take so long to get a new fountain drink/ice machine. Been well over s month. I would check the machine to see if they have ice before buying a drink.

I’m not one to normally leave negative reviews, but this place is disgusting. All of the tables were sticky and seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, floors were sticky and there were food scraps & stuff everywhere, bathroom was gross and the door wouldn’t lock. The grills and food prep area looked to be in pretty poor condition as well. Food was mediocre at best and that is being generous. The owners of this franchise should seriously take a look at their operations and try to be better.

We went on a Thursday night because kids eat free with a purchase of an adult meal. Also, although we didn’t know it at the time, they feature “Anthony the Balloon Kid” who makes balloon animals for the kids. This is a build-your-own-burrito/taco/nachos restaurant. Everyone in my family was able to create a meal they liked. It was tasty and affordable. Kind of a fast food atmosphere.

I placed an order on the app like I always do. I placed the order at 12:23 and the app said it would be ready at 12:33. I got there at 12:31 and saw my order wasn’t at the pick up area. So I took a seat and waited a couple of minutes. A family walked in to order. I saw my order still wasn’t ready so I got in line behind the family. By the time the family had finished ordering it was 12:43. I told them I placed a mobile order 20 minutes ago. I was told it had not gone through. I was fine until I received my food. The family in front of me got a generous amount and mine was thrown together. I eat at salsaritas whenever I work nights but now I don’t even want to go back. My meal before I used my rewards was $14 and I feel like if I pay that amount for a burrito bowl it should at least have more than 6 pieces of chicken.

Food is pretty good. It’s consistent in quality. Service is usually pretty good but the whole restaurant always feels like it has a layer of film over it from odd cleaning that wasn’t too thorough.

I ordered shrimp tacos i thought they would be pretty good. I had to wait 10mins for them to be prepared they ended up being bland and watery with no flavor. I ordered rice as well it was hard and old. Best thing was the nachos lol

Over cooked food, out of everything for dinner and it wasn’t even 6:30pm. 2 females that weren’t employees were hanging out behind the counter not wearing uniforms and hanging out with the employees. BOTH the bathrooms had sticky notes saying out of order on the door. Staff were actively closing down the restaurant in front of us at 6:30 while we were eating our crunchy rice and over cooked steak. Soda machines were noticeably unkept and had no carbonation in the beverages.

Worst food ever. Everything has been sitting there for a while all dried out. The rice is dried, hard and chewy like eating sand. Its not even 3.00 PM and if their ingredients are not fresh, I suspect they are from previous day.
