I had Salsa prepare several trays of food for a large party and they did a FANTASTIC job. The food was all prepared so well with great attnetion to detail. Everything was prepped and ready to serve. I was so impressed. My guests gushed over how delicious the food was. I can’t recommend their catering enough. We will be using them again and and again in the future. THANK YOU SALSA!!

Salsa is an OK Mexican restaurant. The food is decent. We love the house made guacamole (they make it fresh). The chips are usually warm and fresh – this past visit, they were stale, but I’m not sure if we were there in between meal times. There never seems to be a ton of people in there. They do have a small kids menu. The burrito my daughter got was huge and actually delicious! They also have quesadillas and soft tacos on the kids’ menu. Everyone was very satisfied with their meals. The inside is dated, but overall, it is an easy place to bring kids or grab a quick bite.

Personally I think the food was pretty delicious. Figured I’d try it out since I pass frequently. What you get is filling prices aren’t too bad and they’re very up to date with technology (Applepay online ordering )so ordering is an ease. Best burrito I’ve had since moving to Poughkeepsie! Food was fresh, cooked as asked and full of the flavors and textures expected of a Mexican restaurant. I’ll be back often.

When I lived in the area I was a regular here. I’ve missed this place so much and was thrilled to stop in for Mother’s Day Dinner when we were in the area visiting. The Owners are a lovely, hard working family. The food is still fresh, vibrant and flavorful. I’ve always loved this restaurant and now my kids do too!

Don’t go here if you’re looking for anything close to real Mexican food. If you are looking for the most basic of Mexican food this is your place for sure! I had to add more lime to the guacamole and the tacos were so oily and soggy it was hard to eat. Also they have gyros on the menu, no horchata & no tortas. Giving 1 Star is pretty generous….

Such a wonderful restaurant. I have been going for years and I’m never disappointed. I recently threw a birthday dinner there for a friend of mine and a wonderful time was had by all. The tacos al pastor may be my new favorite thing.

Char Bars

The food was outstanding. I had the steak burrito fried and it was great! We also has salsa and guacamole as starts, which were both amazing. I’m a big salsa guy and it was probably the best I’ve had.

I also had dessert, in which I had the chocolate mousse cake and churros, which, again, were amazing.

I recommend going here not just for the great food, but great service and food, but support local businesses.
