Ive been to Salsa Frescas a handful of times but today I was not very happy. Ordered two bowls but they looked half empty. Not sure why. Last bowl is from the website for comparison.

Do not go here. Burritos are absolutely tiny. They left out half of our order for pickup and didn’t include salsa with chips. Left off sauce from salad. This burrito fit in the palm of my hand and was $14

Food is pretty good. Salsa is very fresh! Service is ok because every time we’ve gone, we’re the only ones there! Atmosphere? Music is way too loud. Obviously it’s for the staff, not customers.

While in Avon on Cinco de Mayo, we decided to stop by this new Salsa Fresca location for a quick meal! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and I loved their festive headbands for the holiday! We enjoyed our burrito bowl, tacos, nachos, and burrito. Everything was very clean, and the ingredients used were definitely high-quality!

Salsa Fresca is a fast casual Mexican restaurant. It’s a franchise with multiple locations in New York and Connecticut. It reminded me of Moe’s and Chipotle.
This place has been on my list to try, so I was excited to finally check it out. I ordered the Tijuana Mama which is a burrito with Mexican rice, ground beef, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, salsa fresca, sour cream, and guacamole. You get to pick a sauce and salsa to go with it; I chose the mango habanero and sweet chipotle salsa. The burrito was tasty and the sauce and salsa amped it up. It also came with tortillas chips and salsa as a side.
The food tasted fresh; I know it’s not real Mexican food but for Americanized Mexican food, it’s pretty decent. In the end, yes I would order from them again!

I’ve been here twice now. Good food, not exceptional but it is just a burrito and chips…arrived around when they open. Better than Chipotle up the road and both times I came here I never had to wait. Would recommend.

My family and I ordered take out online for a pick up.
I ordered a fountain drink to try since it is not your ordinary soda. When I got there to pick up my order, my beverage was already filled up/ sealed where they chose the flavor when there was not an option online. I went back inside and asked if there were more than one flavor of soda, they stated that is what I ordered. (I’m not sure if they assumed I was a delivery driver)
We ordered a couple sauces on the side with our entrees, unfortunately we were missing ranch and Apple Cider Vinaigrette.
The food itself was good and tasty.
For future reference, customers who order online for pick-up should have the option to choose what flavor they want to fill up their beverage themselves with an empty cup provided. If it’s a delivery order, they need to add options to choose from – it was just one choice with no flavor info but the brand it self.
Note: They recently opened yesterday for the first time.

I used to love this place but the quality has gone WAY down, food is always cold, soggy, online orders are always incorrect or missing items – queso, salsa, beans, rice, you name it. Very disappointing.

First, the portions are huge, affordable, and quite delicious.
Second, my toddler had some trouble with keeping the chips in his dish. We asked if there was something we could use to help clean up, and they told us not to worry.
Third, one of the other customers seemed to misunderstand the menu and asked for some staff assistance. They explained the situation with great patience and handled the customer expertly!
This will definitely become a regular place for us.
