Awesome food and service,I have a super severe peanut allergy and this place had a peanut free cinnamon roll. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good yum.
From Dad: Agreed 1000%. Very kind staff and delicious food. I had the berry pastry and it was fantastic. Also picked up some coffee beans. Really appreciated how careful they were about my son’s allergies, too. Will be back for sure.

Local Grounds is in a super convenient spot, just a short walk from Wapato Point Resort, which made it an easy stop for morning coffee and breakfast. The coffee itself was solid, and I appreciated that they offer non-dairy milks, gluten-free bread, and pastries for breakfast.
That said, the shop’s overall vibe felt a little off. The staff was stern and not particularly welcoming, which stood out given the small-town setting.
Still, it’s a good option if you’re staying nearby and need a quick coffee or bite.

We love this place! We have gotten the toast, açaí bowls, coffee – it was all delicious! Wait time wasn’t long for our food. People are in and out so getting a table for our little family wasn’t a problem. I love that it’s downtown and hotels are close. It’s walking distance from where we stayed. This place is a must every time we’re in Manson!

Went here on the way out of town – wanted a quick coffee and breakfast to go but it was very very slow while not busy. Ordered egg bites and a breakfast burrito and it took 25 minutes. Egg bites were 0/5 and burrito was 4/5. The seven layer pastry was 5/5 though! Cute spot with friendly staff, but it’s not somewhere to go if you want any bit quick service.

I loved the blackberry coconut muffin, it was gf free and vegan. My husband had the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious!! We come from Seattle and LOVE coffee. This place is one of the top coffee shops we visited, especially being in Manson. The environment was nice and relaxing. Service was quick and good. Recommend to come in when you need some breakfast or lunch.

A stylish and well-appointed coffee shop serving what I believe to be the worst drip coffee in Washington state.
It is weak and bitter and tastes old.
Passable espresso.

We stopped by during the bike tour because this shop is one of the official aid stations for us.
Servers are very friendly and cheerful even if she explained to all riders the same words again and again.
Their pastries are cute and tasty.
Cute shop. I would like to come back here next time.

Great staff, great drinks! Many tourists expect a drink to out as fast as McDonald’s McCafés which is insane. This is a small business running non-stop all day with soooo many people all the time so please be considerate. Best specialty drinks in town!!

Love this coffee shop. Overall great food atmosphere and coffee.
1 small detail. Please use a thermometer when steaming milk for lattes. Milk gets burned, It’s way too hot. This small detail can completely change the taste of the coffee for the better!
