We stopped in on a Sunday night for dinner. No wait. We were greeted and sat down immediately. My husband ordered a small combo pizza and I the Chicken Broc Alfredo. Food was fantastic. Staff were very friendly. We did enjoy the very rustic look, however the place needs a good cleaning. Dirty dust in every corner and un-used surfaces.

It was busy when we arrived, but we still received excellent service. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious. Authentic Italian cooking. Linguine with clam sauce, vegetarian lasagna, alfredo, soups, shrimp and scallops… the bread and homemade soda, house made dressings… too much to list. A perfect dinner. Highly recommend.

Really cool place! So far I’ve just had a plain cheese pizza for take out but it’s some of the best I’ve ever had! Very friendly staff both on the phone and in person. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Got the veggie pizza. It tasted good but crust was way too hard and crunchy. It made it less enjoyable. Also they add a $2.50 charge if you use a card. I can understand if it’s under a certain amount but our bill was $70. That was a bit excessive to add a charge like that.

I was driving back to Albany to my hotel from my Killington Spartan race last Saturday night when I smelled some delicious pizza from my car window. When I walked in it was 7:45PM and Sal’s closed at 8PM. Thankfully they were still able to take my order.

I ordered a large Hawaiian. The large chunks of ham on the pizza was amazing. It isn’t something I am used to with a Hawaiian. Taste of the pizza was delicious. It really hit the spot after a 6 hour and 40 minute race.

Thank you to everyone there for taking the time to make me the pizza before you closed. I really appreciated it.

Absolutely delicious. Pizza is some of the best you will find in Vermont. A must-stop on the way up 7. Pasta was also very good. Really enjoyed my time.

Heard this place was good. Decided to go with 11 people. Turned out Terrible! We ordered wings extra crispy, came out still Frozen in the middle (my kids and the other kids better not get sick) ordered pitcher of soda, came out Flat, ordered Ceasar Salad, Never came, ordered a beer, Never came, waited an hour after ordering food to have anything come out and when it finally did, it was spaced like 5 to 10 mins apart. Pretty simple order, wings, pizza, kids spaghett, salad(no show). It took 45 minutes for a glass of wine to show up that was ordered when we first got there. Worst part, when we were leaving and we were walking to the car, all the kitchen cooks were sitting and standing outside the back door smoking and joking literally, while people are trying to have nice meal. The cooks shouldn’t be allowed to have time to smoke and laugh and hang out in a group out back when people are in the restaurant. One at a time should be the policy. On top of all this, the place was out of several basic pizza toppings and blue cheese. It’s a shame that the owner puts his waitress in this position, she did her best under the circumstances. The owner should be embarrassed to even attach your name to this business.

Coming from Long Island, New York where they make great pizza, i was told that I will not be able to find anything close….well I have to say Sal’s is pretty darn close. Crust was nice and thin and crispy. Sauce was delicious and as my son said the “meatballs are to due for” will definitely be coming here again…

I have been ordering only eggplant subs for the last 40 years in multiple States and I have to say hands down this is the best one, and the largest, I have ever had. The sauce, the cheese, the bread, all five stars!

Excellent pizza I loved it so much I may get another tonight. The bacon is wicked good and I am pretty sure it’s from the Wallingford locker as their cobsmoke bacon is to die for. It was a welcomed change from the mass produced pizzas from the usual places.
