The pizza smelled funny and tasted funny. It looked like it was old pizza that had extra cheese thrown on it and reheated. I called the store and she put the cook on the phone who said he could send me a video of him FRESHLY making the pizza and that it only takes 7 min to make, I was right around the corner when I called. Then I said it smelled funny and he said I could come in a smell the ingredients. I wasn’t looking for free food but I just paid for food that I have no desire to eat. They get 1 star for the TERRIBLE customer service and I won’t be returning to Sal’s pizza ever again!

Called to order a “normal” large/extra large pizza. The normal 16-18” pizza. Arrived to pickup and ended up having to pay for this “jumbo” size pizza. A $30 complete mess that doesn’t even fit in a car door. Normal communication for over the employee should have been like do you want a normal large/extra size pizza or a completely ridiculous size pizza called “jumbo” to clarify.

What a great find! We came to Sal’s because it was open on the holiday – and we will definitely be back. Loved the pasta, the salad was fresh, and oh, my, the garlic bread! Even short-staffed for the holiday, service was quick and everything came with a smile.

Got a pizza and steak Stromboli no flavor Stromboli was cold in the center I am pretty sure they just heated it up in the microwave after I told them. I have been to many random pizza joints in Lancaster pa I will say they by far were the worst. I always get steak Stromboli wherever I go it was the worst one I ever had.The people working there were nice the food just was not good.

Food was awesome. Not sure of they have changes ingredients in pizza. But much better tasting . But buyers be weary and cautious and watch your prices verses what the bill should be . Order a medium pizza 10.25, 1 topping pepperoni and 1 drink 1.75 , and 1.95 more total 14.78 , bill 16.85 , so evidently they charge for ice water my wife ask for ,.otherwise the bill wouldn’t have been 16.85 and instead should have been 14.78 with taxes.

Pizza nice and crispy. Great pizza. Cheese steak no flavor to much onions pale looking steak. Need new suppliers for the steak add a little garlic and salt and pepper when cooking gives it a flavor. Instead of a bland, pale, looking steak sandwich throw it out. Then also got an Italian sub. stop being cheap with lunch meat specifically when you spend over 10 bucks a sub. Weis market next door has better subs. And cheaper. Sorry no pictures cause I ate there and thru it away

The box they put food in for carry out was not secured on bottom and when we picked up the box, the bottom broke out and our food went everywhere, they refused to replace it. The food that was salvageable was HORRIBLE tasting. We threw everything away. We will never use this place again. They were rude and disrespectful.

Worst place ever! Cross contamination. Owner takes no responsibility. Constantly accusing customers of wanting free food when they receive moldy cheese in pizza and strombolis and tells them it’s “green pepper” obviously needs to be recertified in servsafe.

I have ordered numerous times recently in the last few months. I have to say, it’s very refreshing, especially nowadays to get food that’s good, portion sizes are nice, and the price is good, not being overcharged. Plus, the service is very nice and friendly. I will definitely continue to be a customer.
