This pizza spot was recommend to me, so I had high expectations. As a new yorker, I am very particular about my pizza. I ordered a plain cheese pie, and it was okay. Upon pickup the staff seemed highly uninterested in me even being there, then when I got my pizza i opened it and it looked done from the top. When I left to eat it, i noticed that the cheese was melted fairly well, the sauce was okay, but one major issue was the undercarriage. The bottom wasn’t charred at all. If I’m honest the pizza tasted rushed. Folding the pizza just didn’t work properly. I’m not saying that the pizza was bad, it just was an okay first experience. Would I try them again, yes. But next time I would actually be very thourough when I order. Last thing it would’ve been nice to have been asked if I needed plates, red peppe/cheese packets. Just show more enthusiasm.

The food is decent, slices were fresh. The wings were super wet and lacked seasoning.We asked if they were dry wings and were told they were. The Philly steak sandwich didn’t have much cheese or anything else, and the Philly pizza lacked flavor and was super wet also.. Not a bad place for lunch, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

Our go-to pizza!! Incredible every time. I think since we started ordering from here we’ve gotten a pizza a week from them! Split between two people this pizza can feed us for 2 days, it’s great. Try their margherita pizza or grandma pizza with vodka sauce! Will continue to come back!

Sal’s Pizza has hands down the BEST gluten-free pizza in Charlotte! The crust is amazing, the toppings are fresh and it even tastes great reheated the next day. On top of that, the service is so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re gluten free or honestly, even if you’re not!

If you’re from NJ/NY, Sal’s is the spot you’re looking for. I just moved down to NC and love this place! The Sicilian slice sauce was awesome. Saucy and flavorful with a nice crisp crust. Sausage slice was delicious too. Eat it hot and crispy!

Sal’s Pizza Factory makes a solid pizza. I had a regular and Sicilian. I preferred the regular slice, but both were good. I liked the pepperoni’s they use, as they are a decent thickness and have a good taste.
It’s nice that they have pizza by the slice. I also like that they have an area inside to sit down and enjoy your pizza.
Good place to stop on your way to an event at Ovens Auditorium or Bojangles Coliseum.

So this plae5 was fantastic when the. First opened prior to Covid. We haven’t been here since covid, and I figured we’d get back to it. I honestly think we would have had a better experience at Taco Bell. There are 3 kinds of baked cities on the menu. One is called Sicilian, one is with eggplant and one it regular. We’ll my wife ordered the Sicilian, which is filled with eggplant. Management said the Sicilian has eggplant in it!? Awful….. and let’s not forget the service. HORRIBLE in every way possibly imaginable. If the original owner is still here… he’s dropped off big time. If this once great place is under new ownership, consider selling hotdogs from a push cart….and to anyone looking for great food and a nice dining experience….THIS IS NOT the place.
