Listen up Rocky Mount and surrounding areas: Today was my first time trying this restaurant. (I tried it because of a door dash I did and I asked the customer about it) He literally “raved” About the place a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to try it today. 1/4/2026 I “think” I’m a pretty tough “food critic” lol
YALL!!! We could not get out of the parking lot! My hubby & I decided to have a taste in the car and we were INSTANTLY hooked! I can’t say enough about how FRESH, HOT, DELICIOUS our food was/is! (I’m STILL n their parking lot doing this review lol)

Sal and our server, Stephanie, were top-notch. My wife and I were visiting from Florida and are accustomed to being spoiled, you could say. Between the calamari, which was lightly breaded, and the great sauce, plus the garlic knots were the perfect appetizers. My lasagna and 10″ custom pizza were great and full of toppings. My wife had a custom 10″ also. When she asked about her chicken Alfredo with bacon and mushrooms, Sal said he loved a challenge since that isn’t on the menu and proved it. We will definitely be eating at Sals, every time we come up here.. You won’t be disappointed: Mike and Jenny

Worst stuffed crust pizza in America I recommend Armanos anyday! The manager personally remade my order the pizza was remade and appeared to be a veggie pizza with a raw crust! The picture is 15 min after air frying and still not fully baked.

Very clean and great service. Food was tasty too, with reasonable prices. Sauce needs a bit of tweaking, I added in some garlic powder and red pepper flakes! Then the food was perfect. Calamari was crunchy and delicious. Chopped salad was good too! Will definitely be back!

I’m from out of the country and living in Rocky Mount for 3 months due to my job. I love pizza, so I thought I would give Sal’s a try. Mama Mia, am I glad I did their pizza is amazing. I thought I would come back and try some pasta. I ordered the Linguini Pescatore, and it was so delicious and their salads and chicken wings are amazing! I highly recommend Sal’s for a good italian meal. The owner, Sal is always in there and socializing with the customers. It’s such a nice little restaurant with great food and a great atmosphere and great service.

Y’all come down to Sal’s Pizza they won’t disappoint!!! Love our waitress Lindsay, the place kid friendly…Sal the owner is so down to earth, very Kind and customer friendly. He even promised the kids could help cook the pizzas the next time we come compliments of the chef the boys got a free cannoli for dessert as well. The place is spacious and has great lighting!! I think this place has the best pizza in town!! Get yours today!!!

First off, restaurant is very clean and neat. Friendly and courteous server. We ate bruschetta first. It was AWESOME. Toasty bread but soft in the middle, LOADED with tomatoes and basil. SO GOOD !!
Ordered meaty pizza with thin crust. It was thinking but not overcooked. Asked for extra marinara, which came in a small bowl nice and war. I dipped every bite of my pizza in it. YUMMY.
Pizza was not greasy either.
We also had a white spinach pizza ( added chicken which was loaded with tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and olives ). The white sauce was SO CREAMY and tasty.
We live in Florida, but when we come back to visit, we will DEFINITELY come back again. Highly recommend Sal’s Pizza !

The food was hot and exactly what I’d been hoping for. Ordering online was simple and when I walked in to pick it up the lady who greeted me was courteous and helpful. I’ve had takeout from here a couple times before and it’s never let me down. I don’t order out often and it’s been great to know I’m not gambling with the quality when I’m looking for something to eat that I don’t have to cook. I definitely recommend them.
