The food and service were excellent. One of the best meals I have had in a long while. (fried pork chop, greens, mashed potatoes and gravy with a role – sweet tea to boot) Cannot wait to go back.

First time here at Pops. It won’t be our last. I ordered the entree and 3. The meatloaf was quite tasty. Moist and just right. I got the turnip greens, mashed potatoes and gravy. And green beans. Plentiful portions. All of it was nice and hot. Reminds of the good ol days of food preparation as it’s ordered. The cook staff wore gloves and switched out when pulling different food products from the fridge. Tables are clean. Restroom was clean and stocked with tp. My wife ordered the fried Mahi sandwich. She shared some of it with me. It was awesome. Server was polite and on top of it. Kept my tea filled. I asked for a Breakfast menu. Wanted to see what they have to offer and pricing. We will definitely be going. Looking forward to their loaded omelet. All items very reasonably priced.

Good Diner Food. I just have a lot of allergies so i am limited on what i can eat now. I miss their Homemade Chicken & Dressing and their Homemade Banana Pudding. I guess they are Seasonal items. Their menu has slightly changed on their Daily Special and Desserts. Oh, i do not recommend eating their new Strawberry Shortcake dessert for just under $10. The owner’s idea is to deep fry the biscuit/shortcake which makes it hard & very greasy. My sister ordered it & said it was greasy, gross & hard. Strawberries & whipped topping was all she ate of it. She suggested that they don’t deep fry it. That they should just serve the dish traditionally and it would be more appetizing and probably would be delicious.

Friendly staff. Owner was nice. Will definitely be going back. They didn’t rush us. The owner even told my son if he needed job to come by and let him know . The food was delicious and more than my son or I could eat at the time. We brought it home and had enough leftovers for two more meals. This place is across from Wallace college .

Don’t waste your money!! You can cook a better meal at home. Ordered a pork chop, pintos and fried artichoke hearts. Nothing to write home about and the artichoke hearts were vinegary and nasty. Cost was $27 for ONE PERSON… and the food was less than mediocre. I was so disappointed after hearing how wonderful this place was.

Pop’s is one of my favorite lunch spots. The Side porch sitting is great with a great view of Wallace State across the street. My favorite thing on their menu has to be the Hamburger Steak. If you are in the area and want awesome great food, stop in and check them out.
