Best slice of cheese and all meat pizza we’ve had in a while! Perfect amount of sauce, clearly real mozzarella, crispy crust to just the right thickness and amount. WOW! Will be back before we leave in a week, for sure! Wide variety of menu items and the gentleman helping us was more than kind with the upmost patience. I have NO CLUE why anyone would give 3 stars or under, especially when busy.
NOTE: cash only, which helps local businesses and customers from my understanding ♀️

Waiting for the light rail when my friend decided he wanted pizza. Smelled great, better than whatever pizza was being served inside Target Center. Thought $8.11 was a bit expensive for a slice, but they are GIANT, so totally worth it. Staff was friendly, interior was clean. Perfect post show spot to grab a quick bite.

Although the atmosphere isn’t the main focal point, the pizza was everything. I ordered a pepperoni with pineapple as well as a margarita slice. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce we so sweet and herbaceous but also not to sweet. Literally some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The cashier and cook were also really nice. food is 10/10 and definitely recommend this place.

Vomit everywhere – the line was long enough for me to become very familiar with the menu and prices while fending off drunk and brazen line cutters. The security guard wore body armor but offered us little protection from the multiple women vomiting on the floor in front of is. Worst of all, they dishonestly charged us $21.52 for two $8.25 slices – “taxes.” The teenage worker at the till explained to me, unable to meet my eyes. Both her and the owner gave each other worried looks when I asked for my receipt as she tried to crumpled it up, and more so when I photographed the prices with my receipt. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Everything about Sal’s on Fifth is adequate. They’re open until 3:30 so you can get food well after bar close. Keep in mind this will give you a bar close clientele at that hour. The pizza is decent with no frills and a solid taste. The space is fairly clean. The biggest selling point on Sal’s is that it is easy. It’s right by the light rail. It’s right down town. The lines move fast.

I ordered just fries and I was charged $11.76 for them. They were okay. On a scale from 1-5 the fries were a 2.5. I could’ve spent $10 at Frank and Andreas near the U of M and got a slice and fries together for less and better quality. One thing that was a positive was that the staff members were nice and welcoming

Great pizza. And I don’t even like pizza much. Nice thin crust. This is great for grab and go. Located in a busier area, folks getting off the bus n grabbing a bite n getting out of there. If u plan to sit down for an hour meal this isn’t the joint for you. Grab your pizza and go. Guys are busy with customers so don’t expect to have a lifetime conversation cause they need to work and make food. I like that feel of a busy place that gets your stuff to you quick. If you can’t afford an $8 slice of pie and a drink then I say go to little Caesars. People need to make a living too. I will def visit again.

I would like to provide more business, but I have been unable to reach anyone by phone. I have attempted to contact the establishment approximately 30 times out of the 4 occasions I have utilized DoorDash delivery, as direct delivery and online pickup options are unavailable. This situation is highly problematic. Should these issues persist, the business is likely to experience a decline in patronage.

This place is cash only. They don’t give you a receipt. $8.11 a slice for specialty pizzas at the time I went. Handed a $20 bill. Got $2 back – I only thought about it when I got back to my car. Where did the other $1.78 go? Instant 1 star for the dishonesty. Looking at the other reviews, looks like he’s swindled others the same way.
Ended up being $18 for two slices of pizza. It was good, but not worth $18.
Also, I ordered takeout and they put the second pizza on a paper plate on top of the first pizza. Half the toppings on the first were stuck to the plate. Come on.
Location is probably the thing going for this place. Its right next to Sneaky Pete’s and the metro. Inside could use a facelift. Also, what’s with all the security camera’s? There were like 10 of them.
There are signs saying bathrooms are out of order and there are no phone charging outlets.
