We had an excellent meal at Sal’s Gourmet Pizza, even while dining with our two small kids—who absolutely loved the food. We started with the calamari, which was tender, well seasoned, and fried perfectly without being greasy, and we especially liked having the option of mild or spicy marinara on the side. The pizzas were the real standout. It’s genuinely hard to find good vegan pizza in the area, and Sal’s delivers—our vegan personal pizza was thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and balanced, using Daiya cheese rather than feeling like an afterthought. The large half cheese/half sausage pie was equally impressive, with a crisp crust, quality cheese, and well-seasoned sausage. Everything tasted fresh and well executed. Our drinks stayed cold, and the staff checked in regularly while giving us space to enjoy the meal. It’s a rare place that balances quality food, solid dietary options, and a family-friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.

Food is still great, place is clean when you walk in and the staff are friendly. If you are looking for a new local spot, you’d be crazy to not try Sals.
New customer to Sals for the past two months. Only ordered the pizza because of how well it’s cooked but today I switched it up. Some of the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. I highly recommend the restaurant. Staff is great and personable! Camera does eat first when it comes to Sals

Sal’s has always been one of my favorite restaurants. Whenever I get a chance, this is my favorite Italian Restaurant. Food, quality, muahhh!
Now, I want to thank the guys from the bottom of my heart. I was in a huge bind the other day. I was in the hospital and I had a problem with a delivery order from another restaurant. I needed to get food to my elderly mom.
Sal and crew have always been incredibly professional and kind. They came through so fast. This was really, truly appreciated. And my mom loved the food. The salads were delicious!

Came to Sal’s Pizza tonight for the first time. I had the Sal’s Original, Xtra large, half pepperoni, half sausage. It was the best pizza I’ve had since Brooklyn in the 70s. Crust was perfect. Sauce was delicious. Cheese was just right. The pie had a crust that did not wilt. And it was thin. Very impressive pie. Can’t be beat!!! I will be returning. Sal’s is now my go-to pizzeria.

Sal’s catered my holiday party and the food was delicious! You can’t beat them, and their staff is the best – the sweetest people you’ll find in our area. Lot of competing pizzerias in Monmouth county in this area and Sal’s is always one of my favorite spots to go to when coming home from a busy day. Their vodka sicilian is so flavorful, amazing crust, and they always have many options to feed the family including salads burgers and wings too!! Will be back for more!!!

Sal , if your seeing this it’s Rockett we spoke earlier today . I’m almost at a loss for words. Being in Jersey we have a high expectation for pizza and Soo much competition, however your pizza exceeded my expectations. My entire family demolished the pizza so quickly I couldn’t even take a picture of it. 100 percent honesty I used Uber so it wasn’t your fault it came kinda warm/cold but that’s when I knew this pizza was that good because not a single person microwaved their pizza that’s how good it still was even at a room temperature. Everyone give Sal his flowers he knows what he’s doing . courteous , professional, I can go on and on . My aunt had eggplant rollatini roll . She said she gives it about 7.5 out 10 she said it could be seasoned a lil better but she agreed the pizza was a 10 out of ten . We will be ordering from you guys once a week . Great job everyone
