Had a lovely time here in St Patricks day. It was bustling like many other places here in Davis square but the staff here did an amazing job organizing and making sure everyone got there orders and drinks in. They also did great crowd control.

Great bar for a cocktail with friends. Saloon is a hidden gem in the Davis Square area. Go down a few stairs to find out a tastefully decorated bar with plenty of seating places and a great vibe. We chose to come here because we were a big group and could book in advance. Cocktails were delicious, I enjoyed the Hen of the Woods. Staff was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations. Prices are fair. I loved the music playlist but it was a little too high because we seated below a loudspeaker. Other than that, a perfect place for a night out!

The drinks were good but I’m still not sure what happened. With tip, taxes, 5% kitchen fee…. I somehow ended up paying $79 for two drinks, French fries and a burrata salad? Like what the hell?? I definitely had to reevaluate my life choices after I saw the bill haha.

One of my absolute favorite spots in Davis!! Like all the reviews say – it’s really the combination of incredible ambiance – such a great VIBE and decor – LOVE the lights/chandeliers and love the sweeping arches – craft cocktails – delicious and extremely creative (who puts squid ink in a cocktail?! Saloon!! And it’s one of my favorite cocktails I’ve had anywhere! – the Black Gold) – and delicious food – compliments to the chef!

This was such a terrible experience. Extremely rude bartenders. They talk to you like you should feel lucky to have their overpriced cocktails. And apparently you are not allowed to have conversations with others at bar? I’ve never seen a more antisocial scene. Save your money. Five Horse is way better

Step back in time and enjoy a cocktail, small plates, and the great environment Saloon has to offer. Their cocktail list and knowledge off-list makes them one of my go-to spots in the greater Boston area. Food here is delicious – you really can’t go wrong with anything. Great ambiance, good service and food is good too. However…I paid $18 for a cocktail that was literally four sips of liquid (the Habana Affair). I don’t mind high prices for a craft cocktail but they are TINY here. My husband and I both agree the alcohol is overpriced for what you get.
