My partner and I came here for my birthday around Christmas time. This was one of the most pleasant dining experiences I’ve had around this area. From the moment you walk in to when you leave, you will notice the attention to detail in every aspect of the experience that truly makes you feel appreciated as a guest (loved discovering a little thank-you note with my take-home container). The food is high quality and delicious—the presentation may not be complex but the flavor is. The staff are incredibly attentive, polite, and helpful. The above-and-beyond care and detail put into this restaurant is palpable.
(I mentioned I came here for my birthday and the staff gave me a surprise complimentary cake!)
I especially love the vibes of the 18th century inn that this is located in—I’m a sucker for historical architecture (one of the reasons we chose here). The decor work together with the building’s original features to create a unique and beautiful ambience.

My wife and I went here for the first time for Valentine’s Day and had an amazing experience. Our waitress, Brynn, was extremely attentive and accurate. Everything from the cocktails to the dessert was as hot or cold as it should’ve been, and prepared fresh. The restaurant atmosphere is very rustic, elegant, cozy and intimate. I loved the stone walls and exposed wood beams, and my wife loved the comfy chairs. My wife had burrata crostini, veal, and a salted caramel cream pie. I had lobster bisque, rack of lamb (pictured), and tiramisu. Each entree came with a garden salad and a seasonal vegetable. Each dish on the menu was between $25-$50, so I find Morgan’s to be a very high level of service and food at an accessible price point. Truly impressive in this economy. I’d recommend Morgan’s to anyone.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at Morgan’s! Jocelyn did an excellent job as our server. She is very friendly, attentive & knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was outstanding. The owner stopped over to check on us and we told him how impressed we were. Our compliments to the chef and everyone at Morgan’s. Thank you so much. We’ll be back soon!

Love, love, love Morgan’s! This place is a gem! The food is excellent and the service is too. It’s become the pre Christmas holiday spot for my friends and me. Oh, and it is a great place to hold a small baby/bridal shower. Blake comes to check on how you’re meal is going and Patti coordinates gatherings. Just awesome!

Today we had a group of 17 ladies. We all went to high school together. They had our table ready a half hour early. The service was fantastic. Our waitress was well seasoned and the food was awesome as always they were very accommodating and the atmosphere was perfect. We are going to make this a tradition every Christmas Thank you too our waitress and the cooks.

Highly recommend Morgan’s Restaurant! We go there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and also get takeout. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is always excellent as the staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming. I feel they truly exceed expectations when it comes to trying to make each customer’s experience the best. The atmosphere is very unique as it is a very historic building that was previously an inn but still clean and updated. It provides for a cozy place to enjoy a great meal.

A friend of mine was in town and we all decided to meet up somewhere near by where she was. We randomly picked this restaurant. Looked online it did not mention anything about reservations required or anything. When we walked in we were greeted in a weird way is the best way i can put it. The gentleman says how can i help you. We said yes a table for 3 which he replied oh I’ll have to see if we can squeeze you in. Now that’s where i was taken back because the restaurant was completely empty. I’m serious. Besides the side room that look like they were having a small private party the rest of the dining area separated from the private room had zero diners. So that was the first red flag for me. Our server i don’t recall her name but she was nice & very polite. We all ordered different things. I specifically ordered a steak salad and asked for medium and the first video with the burnt steak tips is what they served me first. I didn’t even take a bite i could tell it wasn’t medium and it was way overcooked. I mentioned it to the server she asked if i wanted an entirely new salad or just re cooked steak. I opted to keep the salad that part was fine and asked for new steak. The next steak they brought out was cooked perfectly. I just was very put off that they would serve me burnt steak in the first place but also that they knew i asked for medium and they still tried to serve me that.
Overall the other parties in my group enjoyed their food. I enjoyed my food overall once mishaps were corrected. I’m not sure yet if I’d go back. It was a very cute little old style restaurant. It was very cozy and i love the old feel it had to it. But the greeting and the food issue was a little upsetting. But like i said overall the food was good. The steak was seasoned well. Salad was fresh. I really enjoyed the French onion soup. The alcoholic drinks were pretty decent as well. So if ever in the area we might pop in to give them another try.
