This is the place, located on the south side of Atlanta. It’s less than a mile off the I-75 MT Zion Boulevard exit.
The service was great, thank you Michelle.
They have everyday specials and that evening we enjoyed a couple of the specials, papaitan, you can order it regular – spicy, or not spicy. For appetizer, we the pork belly skin and isaw- wow! The isaw was properly prepared and seasoned and the pork belly skin was perfectly crunchy. We also had lechon kawali and grilled squid. Highly recommend the grilled squid, it was succulent and cooked perfectly. The rice servings were generous – the Filipino way. For dessert, we ordered Halo-halo to go since we were quite satisfied at the end of the meal.
Thank you, Edna, the chef, for cooking the dinuguan for my mom. My mom wanted dinuguan when we came in, but it wasn’t the special of the day, yet when she heard about this, she made some so we could order to go.
Plan to return for more.;0)
The food? Absolutely delicious! We ordered their famous Sisig and Lechon Kawali—both dishes were bursting with authentic Filipino flavors that made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find food that brings comfort and excitement in one bite, but this place delivered on all fronts. And to make it even better, it’s conveniently located close to our layover hotel near the airport—perfect for any hungry crew looking for a taste of home.
Thank you so much for the warmth, service, and incredible meal. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Atlanta. Godspeed to you and your business—mabuhay!
The Best Halo-Halo dessert in town, it’s pretty big for only $9 and just perfect for the summer.
If you’re looking for authentic comfort Filipino Food, you need to try this secret spot.
The Chicken Adobo, Pork BBQ, and Lumpia (Spring rolls) was incredible, so flavorful, fresh and unforgettable. I regret not trying out more dishes. Need to come back!
Salo-Salo Filipino Cuisine serves up mouthwatering, authentic Filipino dishes that instantly transport you to the islands. Their chicken adobo is tender, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, while the pork BBQ is smoky, juicy, and packed with bold, savory goodness. Each bite tastes like home-cooked love, and it’s impossible not to crave more.
And if you have a sweet tooth, don’t skip the halo-halo—it’s hands down the best around. Creamy, refreshing, and layered with all the right textures, it’s the perfect finish to an unforgettable meal. One visit won’t be enough—you’ll definitely want to come back to explore the rest of the menu.
