My husband and I were looking for a new place to check out. We did google search and found this gem. As we walked in, we were greeted by the staff. We were able to pick our own table. Our waitress was wonderful! I ordered the JP’s Special. (2 pan, 2 eggs and 2 bacon or sausage but I chose all bacon $10.99)
My husband ordered 2 Eggs 2 Bacon & Half order of Biscuits with Sausage Gravy

This place is a hidden gem. If you want an amazing breakfast and fantastic cooking, this is your place. Theresa’s menu will make you feel at home. She has a different quiche every week, with each one better than the next. We have been visiting this location for a year, however, the past three months have been exceptional. Angela and Gloria are the nicest servers, ever!

This place has some really delicious breakfast. I suggest you don’t sleep on this spot. This is the one on Colonial in. The plaza next to Napa Auto Part. The staff is great and the service is on point’

Old school traditional breakfast facility that you’d find back in the 80s and 90s. Boy do I miss those days; especially after eating here. I’ll keep it brief and to the point. The staff was excellent, attentive, and friendly. The menu is extensive, with something for everybody… and the prices were unbelievably reasonable for today’s world. The tables and physical plant were clean and constantly attended to.I didn’t feel like I was being stolen from or taken advantage of because of the economic situation in our country right now. The physical plant is dated and needs some TLC, but to be honest that’s what makes it sort of cool, everything still is functional and works and is comfortable, and I like it. I feel like I stepped back into 1986 with the decor lol. I ordered the French toast and a chocolate muffin. The French toast was served very fancy style… they made it look even more delicious and it was excellent and generous. The place was packed when I arrived, and there was a great flow of people going in and out constantly while I was eating.. This is an excellent sign that this is a good/popular place.I will definitely be going back when I’m on this side of town again for business and I suggest you do too. For a complete breakfast with a side and coffee I got out of there for less than 20 bucks. Kudos to the restaurant and their staff keep up the great work.

This is a spot for locals. Where the waitresses know you’re name and what you’re gonna order. It’s like hanging a home cooked meal without paying an arm and a leg for it.

The place has a charming 50s dinner ambiance and the tables and seats might be worn out but you’ll be enjoying for breakfast or lunch without giving it a second thought. You’ll even enjoy fantastic service, warm greetings, and even conversation from the friendly staff.

Nothing beats it and I love every single visit! ❤️

Overall a nice experience.
The food was ok. I wanted eggs Benedict…got a hardboiled egg pretty much…Hollandaise sauce is store bought too. HomeFries were a bit bland as well.
Decor is lacking, but at least there’s something…the only reason we came here rather than another diner…the other diners pages show blank walls, no decorations or anything. One wall of Betty Boop stuff is better than a boring place with no atmosphere.
Waitress was good. Nice.

I searched for a diner near UCF and came across Chubbys. My husband and I walked in and I loved the decoration especially the Bettyboop wall. There were families dining in which was a plus but the sad part was that we felt totally ignored by the staff. We stood by the entrance for minutes with the waitresses passing by and they paid no mind to us. I tried to catch one of the waitresses attention and she just passed by me. Finally I walked to the counter and asked another waitress if we should wait to be seated or would we have to wait. She said we could seat wherever we wanted which we then did. Sat for a bit and nobody was taking care of us. Then the same waitress that answered me gave us our menus and took our drink order. It took a longer time for them to take our order. They made us feel a bit uncomfortable since they were giving better service to everyone else. This was the first time we visited this place. I thought perhaps they had mistaken us with some other people that gave them a hard time before ( this is just me thinking of a reason why we were kind of being ignored). I thought of leaving a few times but convinced myself to stay till the end to find out the outcome. I have to say the food was really good. The food tasted fresh and homemade style. The reason why we ended up not leaving was Angela whom was the only one of the staff to even look at us. Even though the food was good I dont see myself visiting this place again.

Great friendly service, food was well seasoned. Biscuits and gravy were delicious, eggs were a little under over easy and bacon wasn’t soft as requested. But overall great place. Gloria was a sweetheart
