Whiskey Hill restaurant next door is where you can dine in. The service was great and the food was even better.
Then they started movie trivia using loud speakers and blasting music. Wish we would have been warned before we sat down. We would have moved further away.

Pasta was AMAZING and very savory!
Free refills on drinks and service a 10/10!

My fiance and I have been to this location twice and it was awful both times. The people who work there are so rude and act like youre bothering them. Today we took our daughter for a walk and decided to give it another try and stop in for some pizza. The lady at the cash register told us that the menus were on the tables and to have a seat, after about 15 minutes, no one came to serves us so we figured we just go to the counter to order. When my fiance went to the counter, they were so rude and told him to go have a seat. He came back to the table and we waited for someone to come take our order. When the women came, she saw our water bottles from our walk and told us that we dont need to order drinks because we already brought our own. At this point we decided that we were not going to stay. The first visit when they were rude, we told each other that maybe they’re having a bad day or are super busy but having this experience again tells me that the workers there are just rude people. We will not be going back.

I used to go to Salerno’s and cater from Salerno’s at their old location all the time. Their new location is a serious downgrade. Barely any tables. Menu was majorly reduced. Food quality hit or miss. The fried bread was cold and tasted like stale grease. My dinner was good. However, I noticed a new 3% charge on the receipt called a “hospitality fee.” When I questioned the waitress about it, I expected it to go away because I was paying cash. NO. I was told it was a fee to keep the prices low on the menu, and it wasn’t something she could take off. Nowhere was it posted that this fee was being added, so based on principle, I feel this is just plain wrong. Is this really worth losing a customer over? I won’t be back.

Love it! What a location. I grew up here. Can’t beat half-priced pizzas on Monday. My son likes the pasta dish. The staff is so friendly. I feel like I’m visiting family. Thanks for all the extra effort. Customer for life.

first, I’d like to say that it is because of my Pizza preference that I’m giving only three stars. The pizza that we had was a thick crust. I’m not a big dough person so I didnt care for it.
The pizza style is basic but they have cool pizza recipes that I didn’t try.
I’m interested in seeing what their taco pizza taste like
All and all the food flavor is solid and they give good portions. Their Alaskan whitefish looks really tasty and my husband and friend split a chicken Parmesan sandwich and said it was really good.
The service is great. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
It’s not a spacious so large parties shouldnt dine in.

This quaint little place on Prospect Ave delivers dynamite Italian cuisine. Half-price pizza Mondays are a must. I like the pasta myself. Staff is sweet and friendly. You want down-home Italian food and atmosphere, come to Salerno’s Mt Prospect.

Mostly a place for pick up, although there’s couple tables to seat in. But, it’s adjacent to Whiskey Hill Brewery & Kitchen so you can actually order your pizza and wait at Whiskey’s which is very nice. I believe it’s the same owner/establishment. Pizza itself was pretty good, but Vodka Pasta was so so for us, but we will be back for some more pizza eventually.

First time there and definitely going back. Service was excellent. Staff is friendly. Got a build your own 12inch which would have been enough for 2. I personally didn’t like the crust but girlfriend did…lots of topping options. Ours had shrimp…idk if its cooked there or if they use the store bought pre cooked…it looked raw but tasted good. I got the pork chop versuvio or whatever which they charge $1.95 extra for with a side of mostaccioli in meat sauce which was free! Chops were dry and both that and potatoes it comes with were flavorless. Also got mozzarella sticks which were not so good or maybe it was the sauce, still can’t figure that one out. But portions are good. About $25 a person with drinks. Not sure if fountains drinks are free or if they do free refills but got both done during my visit then again we were the last table of the night. My review generally sounds bad but I will definitely find myself back there to try some more items. Have to give it a try.

Ordered a hawaiian pizza. Garlic wings and canollis. Pizza was terrible very dry Worst pizza in the nirthwest suburbs. Wings were terrible as if they were old inventory not good or even tasty. Only good thing were the cannolis because they werent made there Sorry cant recommend this place to anyone just terrible.
