Who doesn’t love pizza? And who doesn’t love awesome pizza?! That’s what you’ll get at Salerno’s Pizzeria! We’ve had many great pizzas, mainly in NYC & Salerno’s is like great NYC pizza in suburbs NJ. It’s thin slice, crispy crust and a slightly chewy dough. The ingredients used are fresh. We normally order the Margherita & Tre Funghi which are absolutely delicious and are favs (personally I don’t mind if the Margherita is a tad less sweet)! Today we decided to try something new along with the Margherita—the Spinach $ Artichoke. Oh boy we found ourselves another fav! The S&P was superb! Creamy and aromatic and made just right! Highly recommend everyone give Salerno’s a visit!

Salerno’s has amazing pizza and salads. Ive been coming here for years and it never disappoints. It is on the pricier side but worth it. The vodka pizza pairs well with pino so it’s a girls night in favorite.

I was in the Hazlet area the other day and ordered a chicken parm sub from Salerno’s. I moved out of the area a couple years ago so I was familiar with their food. I can say that I always enjoyed their pizza and food in the past. I’ve heard that they have been inconsistent but jumped on a food order regardless since the groups opinions were split and some insisted it was still quality. This is how my chicken parm awaited me. No cheese inside the actual sub but instead mounted on top of the sub prior to baking. Not a smart move when you then wrap it. All the cheese was pulled apart and stuck on the tin foil. The size of the sub, for the price, was decent. However, a very sloppy made sub with zero love put into it. The sliced chicken cutlet pieces were also a little odd. I tried my best to enjoy it, I truly did. But it was difficult to do so as I was scraping cheese with my nail to throw into a sub where the chicken was just falling out. You know what would have kept that chicken put? Some cheese mixed in.

This place is honestly one of the best pizza places I have ever been too. Their buffalo chicken pizza is literally the best. Try to beat it u cant! I drive 45 mins from where I live now to get it. I just came in today and every slice is just delicious. I’m serious go here and try it. U will not be let done. Thanks salernos!!!
