A pleasant and delicious lunch. Friendly and swift service.
We ordered two starters, two main courses, and two glasses of wine each – all for just €65. Excellent value for money in a relaxed, welcoming spot. Highly recommended for a satisfying midday meal!

The waiter is very personable and likeable, very efficient and interested in his customers. I’ve been to Salento 3 times now, and always have a pleasant experience. Now the food is of course what brings me back here, I love the sausage and cream pasta. It’s sophisticated, tastes like it’s a cream mixes with Wine which perfectly meshes with a sausage. It’s close to perfection for me. And that is why I give it a 5 star review.

What delicious freshly prepared Italian food in a place bustling with restaurant options. This quaint, small eatery is well worth a visit. We shared a caprese salad which was fresh and perfectly seasoned. I had penne alla pizzaiola and the capers and olives were fresh and not overpowering. The sauce was unique and perfectly seasoned. My partner had Scaloppina di pollo, salsa al limone – the chicken was sublime and tender, while the sauce left us wanting to order this dish again and again! Perfect balance of flavours with nothing overpowering and everything feeling balanced and nuanced. We booked and I am glad we did as all of the tables were taken while we were eating.
The tiramisu and the affogato also merit a mention. Both were delightful and full of flavour (perhaps not as spectacular as the main courses but good nonetheless). Staff were attentive and helpful.
Would recommend and we will be back!

Staff is very nice and kind.
Speaks German too!
Food was a little bit disappointing.
I ordered the Veau&Mushroom pasta , but it was not consistent at all.
The taste was not there and the sauce was poor.
The meat was too cooked and was chewy.
4/10

Great ambiance, equally great service with amazing food. The quaint restaurant was packed solid from opening, so a reservation is a must; at least a dozen people showed up and were turned away. The risotto was perfect, topped off with tiramisu for dessert. Others at our table had pasta and were equally happy with their choice. All the food arrived hot and the service was on par with any restaurant in France.

We came here a couple of years ago on our last trip to Paris and returned as we enjoyed it so much. Thankfully, just as good this time (actually even better) with a wonderful atmosphere, great Italian food and friendly staff who spoke perfect English (apologies for our terrible French!). Highly recommended, we’ll definitely return – our only advice is to book well in advance as it filled up incredibly quickly!

I’ve been to Paris multiple times and this may be one of my best meals yet! If you’re craving incredible Italian food, packed with flavor with the most incredible servers, this is your place!
We had the bruschetta, spinach ravioli, linguine with clams, bolognese and truffle pasta and it was all so good we each had our own favorites and ate it all.
It’s a tucked away place which made us felt like we found a hidden gem. Arthur was our sever and was so kind and made the best recommendations and paced out our meal perfectly.
I’ll definitely be back when I come back to Paris

I am usually apprehensive about trying Italian restaurants in Paris but we loved our lunch at this little Italian eatery in the Marais. Pasta is freshly made, the sauce is tasty and flavorful, and the atmosphere is cute but unassuming. And did I mention the service is friendly? Highly recommend if you are in the mood for some fresh pasta in the middle of Paris.

Whether you are a local or just visiting the city, this is what most people are looking for. It is the right size that you were happy you made reservations but don’t feel like you are eating arm in arm with the next table. Greeted at the door as we ran in from the rain and even though we were delayed by the weather they had are table ready for us. Yes, we did call and let them know we were running late but they were so nice saying “your table is here for you”. Wow. Now let’s talk about food. Only one thing to say; all four of us at the table decided that we each had ordered the best dish. We all tried each other’s order and decided it was a four-way tie. Next is the wine. Our first bottle was so good that I wanted to order another of the same. Our waiter said please open your mind to trying something new and he nailed it. Yes, in most places that would mean you just bought a more expensive bottle but not here. It was less and now I have another great red on my list of favorites! I wanted to finish with the service. You could call it top of the line service, but I would rather call it great people wanting to make sure you feel welcome and satisfied. It was like fun friends having you over for dinner that they were proud to serve you. Thank you, Team Salento Marais for making our night and our time in France so memorable

We were warmly greeted by our server who was friendly and responsive. (I wish I could remember his name!) The restaurant was full, but we were served promptly, yet never felt rushed. The eggplant entrée was just ok. I can’t say the main courses were exceptional, but they were tasty and well presented. Overall nice experience.
