Salatip is a solid choice for Thai food in West Lancaster. The pricing feels right and the food itself is pretty good quality. Our server was nice and helpful. For me, Nopgow in West Palmdale is a sentimental favorite for me and I’ve been there probably 100 times so it holds a special place in our hearts. The servings are a bit smaller than Nopgow, and the common items are just a bit different, but regardless we enjoyed our lunch here and would come back if hungry in the area

This was the first time visiting Salatip and we’ll be back! We got the Tom ka gai, pad thai (chicken), green curry (pork), and mango sticky rice. Everything was delicious. We took it to go so our puppy isn’t scared alone on 4th of July weekend. The few folks we spoke to were lovely and our order was made perfectly. I asked for a spice level of 4 out of 10 and it was really good. Maybe we’ll try a little spicier next time. This was the right amount of food for 2 people with a tiny bit left over for about $60. You can tell this place has been here a while because it has that mom-and-pop feel so you can tell it’s good. And it is.

I’ve eaten her many times and can say the staff are friendly and the food is good. They offer many options and the combo plates are well worth the value.

They offer no Veteran/Military appreciation. But the food was very good. I don’t know if the water they serve is filtered, tastes unclean like tap water.

Food didn’t have enough variety for people with allergies, and they used pre-seasoned foods for cooking. The service was ok and the chef did help out by giving be something with no seasoning but it was dry. The music sometimes has stuff that sounded evil.

Had a nice dinner at Salatip. We had sweet and sour pork and reen chicken with garlic. The pork was just the right amount of sweet and the chicken was soft and juicy. The combinations also come with a soup or salad choice, we had the soup and it was good. The customer service was attentive and inviting. I would definitely come back!!

I spent over $30 for some white rice that I thought was fried and the rice tasted very bland.

Although I did not look towards the service or atmosphere of the restaurant since it was pick up, but I wish I could give the rating of the food quality a negative because that’s what it deserves, compared to other Thai places I can get more in my food box for much less money with more quality of flavor without skimping on the portions… I got only two SMALL shrimps in a combo, considering the price you should’ve thrown more tiny shrimps for slacking on the portions.

You even included a wedge of tomato. I ordered combination fried rice not a salad with fried rice. You should be more specific with what is included with my fried rice I don’t want half salad included with my rice, please and thank you
my last time ever coming here

I’ve been eating here for over 20 years. While, sadly, the original staff is no longer there, it’s still the best Thai food in the Antelope Valley. You have to go to Vim’s or Grandma’s Thai in LA to get anything better. I also love that they have always been willing to adapt to my food sensitivities.

Was gonna go to denny’s, spotted this little gem in the same parking lot, and decided to give it a try. The place is like a classic thai restaurant. It’s a bit old school feeling. They even had little jars of sauces and spices on the table.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very good, and I would even say I like it better than the other thai restaurants in town.

We ordered the Gai gra berng for the appetizer. It was delicious. It was an egg roll skin folded in half over ground shrimp and chicken, then deep fried. Served with sweet and sour sauce.

We ordered the pa-nang curry served with white rice. Definitely try this. It’s very interesting. Its spicy, it has green peppers, and hot chilies in it if you ask for the spicy. My fiance really loved it.

The combo fried rice was on point. Had lots of shrimp. Sorry about the picture, we already ate alot of it!

We also had the pad thai. It was also delicious, had amazing flavor, good peanut flavor. Definitely try this as well!

At the end of the meal. The waitress packed all of the food in boxes for us and everything! They earned a 5 star rating from me. This is a solid thai restaurant.

Enjoy the pictures I’ve included, please thumb up my review.

I got the chicken curry spice rating 1
the curry wasn’t good the sauce is watery, and sweet.
It was hard to eat since the flavors and texture of the chicken don’t go together.
