We came from CT and were there by 6:30 AM after reading so many great reviews. The pastries were out of this world. Well worth the trip! You meet the nicest people outside while waiting for them to open.

The best viennoisserie in the United States, period. If you have a chance to try these masterpieces, do not hesitate. Anyone leaving less than a 5 star review of this place has no idea what they’re talking about. JUST GO!!

It is actually stupid how good these pastries are. You would never expect such a high quality, unique croissant to be sitting in this random shopping center. He had chocolate croissants with almond!! He combined the two best croissants!! I have been to Paris and these croissants are better! Plus the owner is ten times nicer than the people who work at bakeries in Paris lol. If I lived in Newport I would go there everyday.

If you have been to France and enjoyed a true French baguette, and then returned home, thinking about how amazing that baguette was, now you can just come to this shop and will be brought right back to France! Every item they make is perfection. The croissant has layers to it that are actually pretty to look at. Just get here early. When they sell out (usually by 10:15am), they close.

That was crazy. The plain croissants were the best I’ve ever had. Get there early; the line wraps around in front of building. Better than Boston bakeries. Maybe I’ll get to Paris someday, but in the meantime I can flake out with a breakfast pastry!

I feel honored to have been given the opportunity to eat their (Le Bec Sale – couldn’t find them on Google Maps) roast beef sandwich. They make my day every time I walk through their door. Thank you to each and every member of your beautiful team; I genuinely consider it an honor.

Barnaby and some of his workers flew with us last week. He brought us some complimentary pastries that were absolutely delicious!!! Not only does this place have the BEST pastries, but it is also run by the kindest people! We will be back to get some more! Thanks again!!

This place is worth getting up early to get there in time before they run out. And they do run out early. I made lobster rolls with their croissants. Best French Bakery. You know they love to bake when you taste their food.

Hands down the best bakery I have ever been to. My friends won’t stop talking about them, and they can’t even keep their pastries on the shelf past 8:30am, so if you’re looking to try it, you’ll need to show up when they open 7am, but no later than 8:30 if you even want a chance to get in the door.
