Today was a redemptive visit and i was not disappointed. Its been 5 months since visiting due to and incident of poor customer service last visit. To the contrary of this visit, Lara R. was phenomenal and the gentleman on duty as well. My wife and I were warmly greeted with a sincere welcoming spirit. Lara treated us as though our satisfaction was her main focus by the patience she showed. I will be returning sooner than later.

My go to Salata location and it’s always so good. Salata is my all time favorite place to grab a quick bite and I love the freshness of all the veggies and not to mention to great service at the Mansfield location. Highly recommend if you are looking for an amazing and customized salad.

I believe today I got food poisoning from this location within 30 minutes of eating my salad I felt nauseous. Either the lettuce and the vegetables were not clean or the vinaigrette set out overnight as it was extremely bitter. This was my favorite location and I never had a bad experience but today will be my last time at this location.

I’m not from the area, but I make a rather long drives down here to take my dog to cancer treatments. I tried Salata for myself initially, but then I started also getting salads for the pup as a special treat. I’ve always had really good food here; the ingredients have been fresh and there’s a lot of variety. So, it’s human and dog approved. Here’s a video of my spoiled moose eating his own salad, and yes…he eats the entire thing.

Ingredients are always fresh and plentiful… my only issue is that the prices can be insane after you add proteins and drinks. Almost $40 for one person with just two proteins and a lemonade??? The convenience factor is nice, but I went to Market Street and spent $35 and was able to make huge chopped salads for my ENTIRE family. Salata is good but for the price it’s definitely not justified.

Today, May 2nd, I came to eat and, unfortunately, from the beginning the service was very unpleasant. There were two young ladies serving they were just playing and whispering each other. Unfortunately, I felt like they were playing with my food . While serving , I asked the young lady serving if she was okay as she kept laughing . Unfortunately, I love this restaurant, but I had a really bad time. After eating less than half of my food I tasted something spoiled . I told her I wanted to speak to the manager, explaining the problem from the beginning. The young lady, the one who was playing and typing on her cell phone, told me she was the manager, whose name is Anna Cao. . Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the treatment I received and the quality of the food I was served. I just wish they would pay more attention to the employees’ behavior, of course, and the quality of the product they serve, since as a customer you pay for a service.

I love Salata and always order Salata esp on days I miss lunch while at work at the hospital. Well today I order my usual but via door dash, some condiments were missing plus the portion size was so small.
I honestly wasn’t expecting a refund. I called the restaurant to let them know. Anna picks up the phone. I honestly thought she will apologize for messing up my order. No..Her response “There is nothing I am going to do about this.” I would not advice anyone using DoorDash in this location honestly. You’re better off going in yourself to get your order. Just poor customer service!!

My wife and I came at opening. All the staff was sitting around a booth on their phones. We both order large salads the lettuce and all the vegetables looked great and there was an amazing selection of stuff to add to the salad including my favorite dressing chipotle ranch. Now we got to the protein and that’s where it went down hill. The guy serving me( don’t know his name because no one is wearing a name tag) added a very small amount of steak and not even a spoon full seafood mix when I asked for a little more steak he took two of the smallest slices of steak and added it. Now we get to the drinks this is where everything goes bad. Non of the teas or lemonades were ready to go so I had to wait. While waiting my wife points out that the drink containers aren’t clean and there’s still tea from the night before along with white crusty crap in the corners of the clear container. I decide I don’t want a drink and my wife goes back up to get my drink refunded and the girl at the register tells her no the drink containers are clean that’s just foam left in them. You could clearly see the brown liquid of tea left in them from the day before and another employee even said you need to put hot water in them and wipe them out. They did it for the sweat tea…..but non of the others. So I give 2 stars because the employees left crap all over their table for us to look at and because of old liquid and what looks like mold in the drink containers and that’s how people get very sick

When did they get so stingy? I practically had to beg the employee for basic toppings. If I’m paying over $20+ for a small salad, the least they could do is give a reasonable portion. It honestly felt like the staff was being trained to ration ingredients like they were coming out of their own paychecks. Totally unacceptable for the price.
