I was excited to have a salad place downtown amidst all the burgers, pizzas and tacos. Ordered a Buddha bowl to go and was really disappointed. For the price, and the fact they specialize in salads, I expected something tasty but this was not edible and I ended up ordering a second lunch elsewhere. Half the lettuce was slimy, chicken was overly salty, and a blah dressing. The togo container made it really hard to eat. Too bad because I would put this on rotation if the salad was good, but for the price, I would go to a better quality dine-in restaurant and order a salad to go.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and then about 2 hours later I got the funny tummy grumbles. And 30 minutes after that I had to be within arms reach of a bathroom… Food poisoning? Not the freshest ingredients? Just a fluke? Hard to say, but seems like a quick gut check from a health inspector could be in order….

I literally just paid $16 for a side salad and I can’t get anyone at this restaurant To Answer the phone to explain to me why. I ordered a chef salad, and we all know lettuce is one of the cheapest ingredients you can buy. So for me to receive a salad the size of a side dish for a $16 meal is absolutely insane. Do better!!!

I had one of the best cocktails ever at this little spot downtown. A very bright and refreshing surprise for something with “tomato water.” Literally tasted like summer/sunshine+booze. Excellent corned beef sandwich (not all goopy and oily like most)! Friendly staff. All around great place to kick back after a long day of work!
