I heard this place had the best cheesesteak, so I stopped in to try. Don’t get me wrong, it was good, but not Philly good. No place compares to a Philly cheesesteak. The meat was dry and you have to get a topping to avoid this. The place was busy and it took about 30 mins to make. Noticed on the menu they offered “flavored iced tea” and notified sweet and unsweet brewed team next to the soda machine (not labeled with the flavor). Purchased a drink to try and it was flavored with either mint or cinnamon? It was pretty good and different!! The flavor was not overpowering.

Love this find! Tucked behind the Burger King! Let me tell you the staff are super friendly. They seem like they’re having a great time. The food is incredible. The pizza is the subs can’t lose here worth every penny! So happy Tammy and I stumbled on this place.!

The brick oven was the main draw for ordering here. I ordered the tomato and arugula pizza, onion rings and my husband ordered a chicken parm sub.
The pizza was delicious with lots of toppings and well cooked with a nice crispy crust. The order of onion rings was plentiful and also cooked very well. My husband liked the sub but thought it was a little too salty.
I really liked that you can watch the pizza being cooked while the person attending the oven took great care to ensure an even bake.
Overall very pleased.

Our 3rd day in OC, thanks be to God…we found a good restaurant. It was packed when we got there, ordered it to go. It was a 25-min wait, which was great as we walked down about a block and caught an amazing sunset. The food was delicious, great service and affordable. They serve giant slices and 36 inch pies. Fresh and delicious food. It is located behind Burger King.

What a lovely surprise! My family and I stopped in for lunch and were genuinely impressed by the warm atmosphere and truly authentic Italian food. The spinach and mushroom lasagna was absolutely delicious—freshly made, rich in flavor, and nothing like those frozen meals you often get elsewhere.
The “Milan” pizza was a dream—thin, crispy crust, with top-quality prosciutto, cheese, and fragrant pesto made with extra virgin olive oil. Pure perfection!
We wanted to try the cannoli for dessert, but the cream had just run out. To our delight, the manager offered to make a fresh batch from scratch if we were willing to wait a bit. That kind of care and attention to guests is rare and truly appreciated.
Huge thanks to the kind manager (I wish I had asked her name)—you made our visit feel special. Next time we’re in Ocean City, we’re definitely coming back here. Highly recommended!

Ripieno’s is a casual, family-friendly Italian-American restaurant located on Philadelphia Avenue in Ocean City. It’s open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM, and until 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.
It’s been awhile since I’ve truly had a great pizza. After hearing nothing but rave reviews about the wood-fired pies at Ripieno’s, I knew I had to give it a try.
Let me start by saying the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. The sauce and cheese were both excellent, but unfortunately, the crust didn’t live up to expectations. It was one of the floppiest pizzas I’ve ever had, with zero crisp. The texture reminded me a bit of Neapolitan-style pizza, charred edges, but no crunch.
That being said, the restaurant was incredibly busy during my visit, so it’s possible the pizza was rushed. From what I’ve heard, though, this isn’t the usual standard.

Their wood-fired pizza is pretty exceptional! We ordered mozzarella sticks, a 16 inch pizza, (half pepperoni & onion half pepperoni, mushroom, and green pepper) grilled chicken salad, and drinks. Although slightly overpriced, I believe you get what you pay for. The pizza was ever so slightly overcooked, but the overall flavor output that. I will say, the ONLY dressing that comes with a salad is their house made balsamic; they do NOT have ranch! They have a mini diner esc counter suitable for larger parties that seems quite nice. Their homemade tea is phenomenal! They have outdoor seating and plenty of parking. HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try if you’re in the area. They won that ‘best pizza in ocean city’ award for a reason!

Half cheese, half pepperoni pizza was on point. Minimal flop, charred pie, solid crisp. Cheesesteak is one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Classic steak ums with provolone.

We ordered a pepperoni pizza, a steak & Cheese Hoagie, 2 Italian hoagies and a Chicken salad. The wood fired pizza was THE BEST!! The Italian hoagie was loaded with meat and their house dressing was perfect!! I was told the steak hoagie was also very good and the salad. Oh and they dont have ranch dressing, luckily we had some at the Condo but thought that was odd since they sell salads. But if we go back to OC definitely ordering from them again!
