Sala Thai has been a favorite of ours since 2013, and they’ve never missed. My go-to orders — the basil fried rice and the pad thai — are consistently fantastic, but their salmon dish just became my new favorite in the entire city. The food is always incredible, and the service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming every single time. The owner and staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about every guest’s experience. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both exceptional food and exceptional heart —consistently — Sala Thai does both.

The atmosphere here is excellent, with very calm with cozy decor. The staff are also super nice and friendly. And the food is delicious. There are many options for vegans/vegetarians and non-veg alike. Highly recommended.

Sala Thai is an awesome restaurant! I love the design and atmosphere of the dining area. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious- pad se ew, chicken ma ma, crab meat fried rice, the fried dumplings!! As other reviews have noted the service can be slightly slow since there aren’t many staff members. However, the quality of the service is unmatched! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! There’s something for everyone and the dining experience is always delightful. (Also there are plenty of options for all kinds of dietary requirements)

Having worked in a “mom and pop” Thai restaurant as a sous chef, my expectations of this place was high. Unfortunately, it was dashed. The Pad-See-Ew had some flavor, but was not caramalized enough. The fried rice, while a lot, was tremendously lacking in ingredients. The lunch special – the curry had a good flavor, but the Pad Thai was plain noodles and was bland, to say the least. The waitress was not very pleasant and was rushing us to order. The fried egg rolls were okay.
Overall, I would NOT recommend this place at all.

While the portion of the Drunken Noodle and Teriyaki Chicken we ordered were smaller than other restautants, the flavors were on point. And like some customers have suggested, if you enjoy their Iced Thai Tea, order the bottled version as you get about 2.5 servings. Service was prompted but that’s probably because we were the only customers right when they opened at 11am. Nevertheless, we enjoy the food and ambience in this hole-in-the-wall establishment that has been around for many years now.

I ordered this on Door Dash as it’s the holidays and my son and I are decorating. The sala thai fried rice I received is so bland. I normally love this dish from here but this time it tastes like they mixed the ingredients with just steamed rice. It has absolutely NO flavor. I’m so disappointed as this is usually a treat for us. The spring rolls however are pretty good.

Whenever I crave pad Thai… this is the pad Thai that I want! This place is adorable, obviously a lot of heart and soul was put in buy the owner. The atmosphere is so pleasant, cheerful and peaceful. I don’t get to eat here often because it over an hour away but if I find myself “in the city” wanting Thai this is where I go. On my most recent trip, as usual, the service was great. The food was delicious. No problems, no issues.
For my fat friends: This place has a variety of seating and I had no problems being comfortable as a person of size. Also found the bathroom to be easily accessible.
