Awesome atmosphere. The bartender Frank was very gracious. Making sure we had our drinks right after we finished the last. Food was amazing. The apps, pasta course, main course to the desert course. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Can’t wait to go back! New favorite spot in Huntington! ANDIAMOOOOO!!!!

Could not have asked for a better dining experience! Food was very tasty and had great service from all the staff. The staff make you feel like family from the moment you walk through the front door. Decided to try the Burrata and Combo Della Casa (lasagna, eggplant rollatini and meatballs). Both were on the Specials Menu for the night and were absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were great, so had leftovers for lunch the next day. Value for price is very good and could have easily shared both. The restaurant is very clean, comfortable and cozy. Thanks to Nick, Frankie and Giovanni for a great dining experience. Can’t wait to go back for another fantastic meal spent with “family.”

My husband and I ate dinner there this past Wednesday night. We knew the food would be very good because they put real Italian bread (Brooklyn style) on the table. The espresso martinis were perfect. The fried zucchini was very crispy. We both had the Chicken Scarapariello off the bone. We’re still raving about it. The balsamic glaze with delicious. Portions large. The cannoli was large enough to share. Kayla our waitress was attentive without being overbearing, all smiles. We are definitely returning.

Sal D’s is my favorite restaurant and has become THE “go-to” for many of my friends and family. FOOD is amazing authentic Italian cuisine with lots of great specials. SERVICE is exceptional. You will never wait for bread, water, drinks, or your food… no matter how busy. AMBIANCE is updated and strikes a balance between celebrity spottings, business guests, families, and intimate dining. PRICE is very reasonable. Once you try Sal D’s Restaurant in Huntington, NY you will have a new favorite place. Eggplant rollatini, linguine with clams, lasagna, baked clams, Greek salad, are AMAZING. 5 stars is not enough praise for this family owned masterpiece.

It’s been a few years since my last visit to Sal D’s. The food was excellent and paired with equally good service. Loved the shell steak with gorgonzola on it, cut and cooked to the perfect temperature. Unlike many restaurants in the area they maintain reasonable prices and are not cutting corners to save a buck. Great job.
