I had the Green Peace roll and vegetable tempura. The tempura was perfection. The Green Peace sushi was both beautiful and tasty with a delicate mango sauce.

Very good Asian food for such a small town. Unfortunately they are closing at the end of this month. I ordered Hibachi Chicken which came with fried rice, vegetables, mushroom onion soup, and a salad. All VERY GOOD! My wife ordered Tofu Teriyaki with white rice, vegetables, miso soup and a salad. The fried tofu was exquisite! Also had a side order of avocado sushi rolls. Get in here before they close!

I called in a take-out order the other night. I came in to pick it up before it was ready, and I was given some miso soup while I waited. My sushi was excellent, the atmosphere is classy and peaceful. Service is fantastic, and the staff is very pleasant. I love Sakura!!!

We completely enjoyed our experience at Sakura. Our party of seven arrived to celebrate my mom’s birthday. We ordered two rolls, bento boxes and various hibachi dishes. Food arrived quickly and wait staff was amazing. The food was tasty and pleased everyone. Thank you for making today super special!

I don’t know why I waited so long to try Sakura, but last night I finally did and couldn’t have been more pleased. The food is of extremely high quality, the interior clean and welcoming, and the variety of dining choices is fabulous. This is definitely the place in Silver City that can accommodate everyone from meat lovers to pescatarians to vegetarians, and even vegans! There are veggie rolls, and other options such as salads and fried tofu, and entrees made with tofu or veggies. I highly recommend Sakura for a lovely meal, and I definitely will be back, both for take out and to dine in.

I just have to say that I absolutely love eating at this restaurant!! I literally fell in love with the food here!! If I’m in a hurry for good filling and healthy food, I ALWAYS stop here!! They have fantastic service, they remember me and my favorite dishes, they offer me new foods to try and help.me make decisions on my meal because of course like most people raised here I’m not real familiar with this type of food!! I even go eat by myself!! Lol! Great food great service and a great prices!!

Who expects sushi in Silver City, NM! But here it is, and it is excellent. I had the Green Peace roll and vegetable tempura. The tempura was perfection. The Green Peace sushi was both beautiful and tasty with a delicate mango sauce. Though I wanted something more from the sauce for dipping the tempura. Not sure what I wanted–maybe more taste or more “body” to the sauce, or maybe a sauce with bits of green onion tops in it or something else–a choice of sauces? Something in pineapple? That sauce just seemed a little bland and watery. Everything else was fresh and made me happy I came there to celebrate voting early!

In all my time of living in Sliver City, I have wanted a good fish place, not only did I get that, but the staff was amazing. The food itself has no comparison to anything nearby, especially for sea food in the west. And for the quality of the ingredients the price is more than fair. Of you want a delicious meal I would suggest here above most things.

Unbelieveably good! Reminds me of my favorite sushi house in Hawaii. Service is UNBEAT in Silver City! The prices are SO CHEAP for sushi! Habachi is a family favorite so its AWESOME they offer it. Very clean and comfortable setting. Easy to find location. THE LUNCH SPECIALS ARE FANTASTIC! I and my family return at LEAST once a week.

I have to say that the 4 people who work here currently are amazing! Hard working and kind. They deserve a big round of applause for uprooting themselves to live here and make a go of Sakura’s. Sad to see them leave but so glad that I was able to experience the food and their beautiful qualities.
